The shots on the Samsung are wider like it's showing 3 balconies whereas the i phone hasn't and only kept two balconies . 2) the lamp in the grass in both the iphones has been weirdly shaped and kind of overexposured like it has a very oval -circkly shape in the iphone where's the s21 ultra has kept it in a clear Rectangular shape but once again has a wierd lens flare

I really enjoy shooting with ultrawide cameras and in my experience the 12 Pro Max's ultrawide shots looked soft and lifeless. I had high hopes for the 13 Pro Max but comparisons show that it isn't that much better than the 12 Pro Max. The S21 Ultra and Mi 11 Ultra are miles ahead in dynamic range, details, and colors when it comes to ultrawide pictures.

Our testing parameter only looks at pixel-binned samples and not the Hi Res output (except for a passing mention). After our interaction with Sony and Samsung’s camera engineers, we were made aware that these tiny sensors are meant mainly for pixel binning not full res captures.

I like the fact that You try to cover almost all scenarios like lowlight / artificial light selfies, lowlight ultrawide and some more that other reviewers miss. I wish reviewers would do videos acknowledging the damage that Apple has done to the smartphone world. The trends they've started that in reality is only about making money. I love smartphones and it used to be a thing I loved to follow and watch what companies new innovations have come out with. Now it's just Apple taking away features and the other companies following what Apple gets away with. Now that LG is gone there won't be anymore SD card slots on flagships and hifi DACs and all the crazy and sometimes ingenious innovation they had. This has become a very boring and sad part of what I used to love about smartphones. IMO Apple is responsible for being the biggest killer of innovation in this thing I used to love. iPhones are a one trick pony with cameras and that's it. There's no real innovation nothing new or exciting. Watch any iPhone video and the first half is the reviewer talking about the colours. That's it?
Nice comparison, very detailed. Did you also notice in night mode for the iPhone 13 Pro Max, the time taken for each photo is also shorter than the 12PM and S21U? technically the exposure time can be extended to match the other 2 phones and give even cleaner low light photo.

Fair point about the 1080p Cinematic mode. Let me check with Apple about their reasoning. As for the second point, I can assure you it depends on where you zoom into the picture. On most occasions, the detail retention plus hair details are sharper on the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Sometimes S21 Ultra does it better. There are many factors at play here. The lens, the focus, hand shake etc.But, Samsung is definitely not sharper with primary camera human subject images. Selfies, on the other hand, it is unbeatable.
As said by supersaff its hard to pick which one is better... either way both are great. Its just matter of which aspects you prefer. Edit: for some reason this felt sort of biased leaning towards iphone may be its just me.

It's weird but on this channel the results obtained by Samsungs and particularly the S21 Ultra are always bad, especially compared to iPhones? 🤔 Either it's the only channel that tells the truth, or is it a particularly pro Apple channel? Haha. I’m far less pro Apple compared to many others out there. This is merely a technical analysis of the pictures. I didn’t even cloud it with what I think are better pictures - Samsung’s. Especially, since I like zoom. I don’t see a reason why you must be so enraged.
13 pro max has best video recording, best portraits, best low light photos and videos. Galaxy has has best front camera, best zoom and let down by introducing plenty noise. At this point, 13 pro max is a best camera smartphone
I can agree on video but not on portraits the s21 ultra has clearly a very good improvement potrait shots , and also in low light photos due it's such a big sensor but if you use the 10sec mode in night mode iphone does a better job but s21 ultra overall is still the best camera smartphone in the World imo. One more point s21 ultra isnt even the latest gen s22 ultra is gonna slaughter the iphone clean and cut just the way s21 did to the iphone 12 series

Dude what's wrong with your eyes? We can clearly see how samsung has captured better pictures in most of the shots and you declared apple is a clear winner. You must watch Supersaf's and Mrwhosetheboss's unbiased camera comparisons. In that Alto car shot, look at the details near the tyre where Apple had completely lost its sight. Infact, in many of the shots Apple 12 pro was capturing better pictures.

When you did the cinema video demonstration, and said how good it is, I knew this review would be biased. When ur friend looks back at u, it doesn't focus on him correctly at 4:00 and 4:32. And u put ur arm out to get it to focus on the dog at 4:23. In the rose pic at 5:10, u use blurry leave pics of the s21 ultra to compare to the iphones... Endless bias in this review. Too many incidences to point out...

Haha. I’m far less pro Apple compared to many others out there. This is merely a technical analysis of the pictures. I didn’t even cloud it with what I think are better pictures - Samsung’s. Especially, since I like zoom. I don’t see a reason why you must be so enraged.

It’s always off. We don’t switch on any artificial enhancement and look at direct jpeg extracts only.

13 pro max has best video recording, best portraits, best low light photos and videos. Galaxy has has best front camera, best zoom and let down by introducing plenty noise. At this point, 13 pro max is a best camera smartphone
I can agree on video but not on portraits the s21 ultra has clearly a very good improvement potrait shots , and also in low light photos due it's such a big sensor but if you use the 10sec mode in night mode iphone does a better job but s21 ultra overall is still the best camera smartphone in the World imo. One more point s21 ultra isnt even the latest gen s22 ultra is gonna slaughter the iphone clean and cut just the way s21 did to the iphone 12 series

Dude what's wrong with your eyes? We can clearly see how samsung has captured better pictures in most of the shots and you declared apple is a clear winner. You must watch Supersaf's and Mrwhosetheboss's unbiased camera comparisons. In that Alto car shot, look at the details near the tyre where Apple had completely lost its sight. Infact, in many of the shots Apple 12 pro was capturing better pictures.

When you did the cinema video demonstration, and said how good it is, I knew this review would be biased. When ur friend looks back at u, it doesn't focus on him correctly at 4:00 and 4:32. And u put ur arm out to get it to focus on the dog at 4:23. In the rose pic at 5:10, u use blurry leave pics of the s21 ultra to compare to the iphones... Endless bias in this review. Too many incidences to point out...
