Clara Lieu was an Adjunct Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design from 2007-2020. Her artwork has been exhibited at the International Print Center NY, the Currier Museum, Childs Gallery, the Davis Museum, and more. Lieu received an artist fellowship from the MA Cultural Council, has written for the NY Times, and lectured at Brown University, the NAEA conference, and in Vancouver & China. She has been profiled in Artsy, Hyperallergic, KPCC, & WBUR.

Could you make a video about art clubs and ways to connect with other hobbyist artists IRL? People say that, to make friends, you should join a group of people who do an activity you enjoy in and of itself. My first thought is always of a sketch club or something, but there are none where I live, so I'd have to start one myself. I have no clue what we would do together if I did, though. Based on my experience with online art groups, I'm afraid it would turn into people getting together to talk about why they _haven't_ been making art or people getting together to talk about how much they hate their art.
Also, if you haven't yet, collaborative art might be a good prompt for an art dare.
