If you want to know an honest Scaler Academy review and wonder whether it is worth your time and money, what its pros and cons are, and what it’s like to be part of this program - then this video is for you.
We have with us 3 Scaler Alumni - who promised me complete honesty and transparency in the video, and trust me - I pushed them to bring out all the cons as well! I am hoping you will get enough insight into the inner workings of Scaler Academy as we touch upon topics like its curriculum, classes, teachers, placements and more - it was a good sneak peek for me at least!
While these are only three, Scaler claims to have thousands of happy alumni in top companies such as Google, Amazon and Microsoft etc. In fact, in a blog, the company said that Amazon hired more from them than all IITs combined last year and that really impressed and fascinated me! The claims have been substantiated by students as well and here are some highly relevant links that I found while browsing across the web in case you want to check. In fact, there are many such reviews spread across sites like Quora and LinkedIn as well!

I enjoyed the video, as far as enrollment is concerned so it depends upon individual if by getting into a tier-3 College they couldn't land into their dream job but on the contrary part scaler academy is making it possible by some sort of paid courses that's the best thing.
And at the end of day the results depends upon the individual hardwork that how passionate he/she is in achieving their goal.

This video cleared all my doubt regarding Scaler Academy courses. I can totally relate to them on guidance part, like when you are learning from free courses it became time consuming as well as you lack right approach so it is very important to have TA and community. Also if you are from tier-3 college you need community support like Scaler Academy.

I had subcribed to Keerti Purswani channel asumming its real channel with genuine content. I would say this video is complete cunning in nature, here it was claimed as a genuine review, but it is actually sponsored one. This means cheating andmisssing your chennal subscriber for your own benefit . I dont say its wrong about sponsor video, but very intelligently protrayed as a honest review . Not a single word mentioned about sponsor, neither in description or in Thumbnail. Its not added even after many people asked to add it. I have unsubcribed now.
The way she asked all the questions...it says she was well planned and prepared ... amazing interview...it covered almost all the doubts one can have before joining an online paid course.

Scaler Academy provides end to end support with the student. I had one meeting with one of the associates and they clear doubts by taking the industry examples and scenarios that many developers used to face while learning. Why I think Scaler will be helpful
1. Guided learning.
2. Mentorship.
3. Projects.
4. Referrals.
However, Scaler marketing/sales team should improve. My experience was bad.
For example, the executive asked me to rate myself in DSA, I rated high like 8 on 10. The response was "Really? Are you sure?"
Also the executive asked me "Can you create a low level design of Paytm?" and the executive was clearly not qualified to ask that question based on his answers. That was very humiliating for me. The executive was very rude because I was busy and had not picked up the call as I was busy.
Scaler would have helped me. I almost had made the payment. Just because of this bad experience/humiliation, I told myself that I will clear the interviews without Scaler.
This motivated me to complete my preparations in few weeks and get a very good offer. For me, referrals were not an issue as the recruiters had already messaged me.
Scaler is definitely helpful, especially for the fresh grads. However, the sales team needs to improve a lot.

I love coding. Even if it was not a high paying job, I would be coding.
MS is a totally different path.
Scaler's guided learning helps you get a job in tier 1 companies.
I did B.E in ECE. Branch does not matter once you have experience in IT. I don't think Scaler learning puts you somewhere equal to BTech CS. Scaler helps you bridge the gap and get into top companies by teaching you DSA and SD which are not given importance in BTech.

You can learn coding yourself and there 1000 ways to do it but having a mentor and learning in a structured manner is completely different and makes a huge difference
Anyway to learn dsa and system design we have many free resources . Main thing is being consistent for 6months practicing these things daily is bigger task

Being a CS student I know how much it is important to practice DSA and experience hands on projects, so its the most important initiative what Scaler does which helps to acquire practical knowledge.I will always look for this kind of paid course which gives that much a industrial experience.A big thumbs up to Scaler Academy.

I was part of the exact batch, of that guy who did a bold proclamation that it's a scam. He is a famous CZcamsr now. To be honest it was absolutely worth it. I brute-forced my way in, after getting inside the training was absolutely spectacular. Yes, there was an issue with placement, during our batch. But here's the thing, their 3L was absolutely worth it for a tier-4 student like me; because the methodical gamified training was spot on! I didn't get a high-paying product job at first (though it is a recent unicorn, they low-balled us for being from a tier-IV college), then I switched to a high-paying one (it has the highest base pay, considering that it's just a startup). I couldn't have done it without that intensive training. Many people didn't get placed that time, but the learning was worth it, and almost everyone has cracked top product-based companies. Now, with a 15+ LPA base salary, you definitely can pay 1.5L/yr for 2 years. So yes, it is definitely worth it.

@@abhilashmallikarjuna4277 yes. You can. However, I would also suggest you to study DSA theory separately. The scaler training is very much application oriented, and knowing the theory helps a lot. That being said, they too cover the theory. It's just that it isn't rigorous enough for me, though it isn't asked much in interviews. Being familiar with the theory helps in ramping up fast though.

Intellipaat institute please .. they trapped me with 1L.20k data analytics course. I never gave a confirmation to proceed with the application. I asked to hold on to my application. Very bad experience. I just told them to cancel it as I'm not interested

Okay so here is my take on it.
To me 2.5 lac is not about learning the content I can learn that on YT. Everything is online.
As a working professional I will pay 2.5 lac just to get into a routine. Because for me its all about a fix routine and a proper schedule that holds me accountable.
People who can do self learning = GREAT GOOD FOR YOU.

Hi. I cleared scaler academy entrance test for data science course . i answered 7 out of 16 questions correctly and I have got some 35000 fee waiver.
They say that I can register with 20000 now and experience the trial period till Feb 21st. If I am not happy at the end of trial period, they will refund this 20k it seems.
Currently I m going to do pursue 1 year masters in Ireland related to data analytics. Could you/anyone suggest whether I can choose scaler data science course for back up or not?

before getting into scaler, please try self study first. If you fail to be consistent and disciplined then even scaler cannot help you.

- skills vs degree same fake pitch by counsellors and try to manipulate you

Deadshot, it is also about all the investments that we do per learner. I am aware of education loans but the only way you can solve these problems is to increase your knowledge base in the industry to a level where companies will be looking to hire you, wouldn't you agree? Even for startups too. Knowledge is true power.

I'm one of the participants in the video :) I can't speak for everyone, but I can say for sure that for me it was completely worth it. Not sure if you have seen the video yet. Like I say in the video, I got a 180% hike!! I personally see this more like an investment with super high ROI!

A major problem in the Scaler curriculum is burnout and cost. Not all complete the curriculum and most people drop out in the middle. Even after you want to stop. You can't because you have already taken out a loan from a third-party partner.
If you get a good instructor and you are self-motivated. Then you can take the course. The placement team is very good that they keep getting your companies if you have a good profile i.e. prior experience, good problem-solving score (you have to solve problems in scaler daily) and you need confidence that you can crack interviews. Mentorship is not effective if you are NOT solving problems. Most mentors will talk to you because they are getting paid. Ask them questions that you have and do a lot of mock interviews with them. That's what you are paying for.
if you can't stay consistent and self-motivated then DO NOT take scaler. You should be financially stable to pay the fees without EMI and then take EMI for flexibility. if you are self-motivated then you can learn anything for free. Content is free but the desire to learn is not there in most people. The sales guy will tell you a hundred stories. Don't believe it!
