To celebrate, I saw it only fitting that I do what you guys love best: Bleaching.
So I'm here to do just that.
Inspired by my hot roots, today I decided to go for an ice white hot root moment and see how that looks. Part 2 is coming to finish off the look!

For type 4 hair, the best time way to detangle is when itâs WET!! Stella donât forget that what works for straight hair doesnât work for kinky textures. Iâm a huge fan of you even if Iâm part of the more forgotten of your audience. I know you cater for straight hair hair similar to yours but donât forget about the other kinds of hair out there. I adore you and love this channel â€ïž

I love Stella but it saddens me a little bit that we type 4s get excluded once againđ of course I'm used to it and I know most hairdressers are completely clueless about black hair but yeah... the way she talks like type 4 hair doesn't exist stings a bit... she's white and south/eastern european so it's not surprising, but her community is diverse and international
But is it not so that you better use a wide come for that. Not a paddle brush? Correct me if I am wrong. Please. But that is what I wss told when I was on the curly train for a while.
â@@wendyschlagwein5824 it depends on personal preference. At the beginning of the natural and curly hair movement a wide tooth comb was preferred but as we have learn more about our hair we have branch out. Personally I like the table teezer paddle brush but I'm sure not everyone likes it
I would say most type 3 hair detangles better wet as well. I have 3c hair and while I do some gentle dry detangling, the best time to get fully detangled is while wet.
I think most people just detangle too fast because if you have straight hair it can be easy, even with straight hair if there are actual tangles it should be done slowly from the bottom up. Tangles should never be ripped out if you want to protect your hair.
But donât forget Stella was saying that in regards to elasticity, hair is more fragile when wet, including coily and curly texture. Itâs definitely easier to brush that while wet and with products but still more elastic than when dry.
As a hairdresser of 17 Iâve always fought AGAINST âhot rootsâ Thatâs a salon nightmare but Stella takes the conventional rule book and burns it. I love it! Congratulations on the launch â€
Nothing wrong with lighter roots
It looks like a beautiful brush and congratulations. But in this economy I have to wonder why influencers are developing and selling such Lux items to their followers. Your fans are going to want to support you. (Or other Influencers doing the same). $52.00 for a brush seems a little crazy in these times. Best wishes. â€

Quality brushes are at least 50.00. Not Walmart or target hairbrushes

Iâm a hairstylist and I just love your analogy of baking in the oven and developers and lightener! I will be sure to explain it like this next time I have to explain it to a client lol đ
I bleached always my Hair with 2% + Olaplex and it was always even! I let it on my hair for 1 hour and sometimes I do a second round on my length, because it doesn't get this light. I'm always happy with 2% and Olaplex, because it's soo gentle to your hair!

Yep. Pretty pricy for something we have to use on a daily basic for good hair health.
It actually is very expensive, doesnât mean you canât buy it but just admitting that itâs expensive is not an insult.

I went from level 3 dyed hair to a level 10, using 10 vol with bleach. It took me 3 sessions over 3 months and my hair is still in beautiful condition. Low peroxide is so much better. Slow and steady wins the race and prevents having to cut all the hair off.

I've been bleaching my hair with 10 vol for over a year now and it doesn't get super light but with multiple applications every other month I can switch up hair colors without bleach damage and still get a light enough base to dye my hair almost any color at the root
You can use the brush to distribute the conditioner throughout your wet hair in the shower. It can be more beneficial to the hair due to the natural texture of hair. As long as the hair is detangled dry before washing them then there should be no damage. Although, I'm very excited as paddle brush is my favourite type of brushes. Congrats on the launch, Stella! Iâm so happy for you! I donât ever use paddle brushes on my hair (3c/4a fine texture). I only used paddle brushes when I used to straighten my hair, but I havenât used heat on my hair in almost a decade. However, these brushes look MAJOR high quality! I hope people understand the value theyâre getting with this design. I canât wait to see what other products you launch next!

Iâve been using that technique about years and is sooooo healthy for hair and scalp, i do always and my clients love the white hair result, i use always olaplex treatment after and the hair is amazing and shinning đ. I recommend always do the first bleach with 10 (or less) developer and then if you need add 20 to refresh the bleach, the hair still bleaching in a healthy way đ„°đ„°

Years ago when I had a paddle brush......it was suggested that in order to wash the brush I put a toothpick in the hole to prevent water from getting inside.
The fact you can use the brush directly on bleach is awesome. No worries đ
you can use any non metallic brush with bleach, theres actually special blending brushes you can buy
You can use almost any brush on bleach

I'm also pretty comfortable with 20 volume. I watch my hair very closely and luckily my hair lightens basically to platinum in under 20 mins unless I have dyed Mt hair with permanent dark dye than 30 mins is perfect for me

Iâve never had a problem with my 30 or 40 volume bleach process. Using 10 or 20 on someone who has dark brown hair that pulls red, you will not get a true pale blonde lift-youâll have to cover up your mistakes with toner, which should not be used as a fix it all tool.

I always use 7 vol and let it sit 45-60 min and my hair is white, it never comes out yellow

Congrats on the brush! I wonât use brushes with bristles that have the little dot on the end, causes too much damage. So I canât buy it but hopefully in the future you will release one that doesnât have that.
