    🤣🤣🤣 so I think I've remedied this problem for me...I prompt ChatGPT to drum up a story for me on my desire, tweak it to my liking, and read it before bed, as many times as I want, then fall asleep 😄

    I've struggled so much with visualisation SATS that I gave up so many times before. Now I just do SATS with robotic affirmation, so I can repeat an affirmation over and over again and still be able to fall asleep and I've been getting crazy results! If anyone wants to try, I advise you to keep to a short sentence so you do not overwhelm your brain and wake yourself up instead of getting sleepier and sleepier ahahah

      Yes!! SATS isn’t exclusively visualization, we can absolutely use an affirmation or an internal conversation if it’s easier. I’m happy to hear you’re seeing results, and congrats on your future successes! 🩷

      @@tinamarie8718 Sure! Basically what I do is find a sentence that's either broader in its sense but correlates with what I want to manifest, or I go super specific with it. For example, if I want to manifest various things at once and don't know where to start, I go with "everything in my life is perfect". If I want to manifest money, I go with "money is flowing to me right now" / "money follows me everywhere i go". If it's an SP "SP (name) and I are in the perfect relationship" / "I am his priority in everything". If you're struggling with your self concept since it's a lot of things encapsulated in one I would go for something like "My self concept is absolutely perfect" / "I am my best version" / "Everything about me is absolutely perfect". Let me know if these helped or if you have a specific manifestation you'd like me to help find an affirmation for

      You mean during SATs, instead of visualizing or imagining, you just do robotic affirmations? I am asking because I also can't visualize 😢

I just pick an affirmation that is either more broad like "everything in my life is absolutely perfect" or an affirmation that reflects the particular desire I want, but that is easy to repeat so I don't overwhelm my brain when it's trying to sleep 😂 (ex: I'm so successful at work/I'm attracting so much money; I have the perfect body/I'm loosing weight effortlessly; I am SP's priority/I'm in the most perfect relationship).     It takes a lot of practice. Just keep doing it and you'll get better at it. I use a coin like Thomas Edison did when he did SATS. Hold the coin in your hand and as you start to fall asleep the coin will fall you pick the coin back up and do it again Then repeat the process until you completely fall asleep

    so true! hope this makes yall understand that no one is perfect! sometimes SATS isn’t for everyone :) always best to choose a technique that feels natural to you! i used to beat myself up for falling asleep so fast but i realized its probably not for me and i don’t need to force anything!

    I accidentally got into the state akin to sleep when I laid down for a nap one day. I was so excited when I realized what was happening that I kept jumping from one topic to the next, forgetting what I wanted to focus on. I’ve been able to trigger the stage pretty consistently now if I lay in the same position, on my side with my arms straight out in front of me. I’ve heard other people say it helps to take a position you would normally not sleep in. It also helps to write your pre-planned scene out before you lay down so you don’t get distracted.

    Funnily enough the one thing that has really helped me is your advice to count backwards from 100, it really gets me into a chilled, meditative state. Also i don't do it at night but in the morning on waking when I'm still in that Theta state.

    Yeah, I stopped doing SATS right before bed that was visualization as it kept me awake and wanted to retrigger full-blown insomnia. My focus would also be taxed as intrusive thoughts and memories would resurface as I went from being drowsy to more alert. Affirmations don't trigger all of that as much, but I don't do lullaby methods hardcore anymore before I go to bed as it was counterproductive to me feeling rested the next day and caused me to spiral more.

      true that’s why i don’t like stats either. i have adhd so if i don’t turn on some noise in the background and just rest my mind then i’ll be up alllllllll night. i actually affirm myself to sleep and it works, i’ll even find myself repeating my affirmations in my dreams or thinking about them right when i wake up

    The most amazing place to get into the state to sleep is on an airplane when you’re trying to sleep, but you can’t quite fall all the way asleep and you keep getting woken up two seconds because you’re so uncomfortable with your forehead . I fly a lot so I get to practice this frequently. I look forward to it now specially when I’m super tired it works really well. I stay in the state to sleep during pretty much the entire flight.

    HAHAHHAHA this is so accurate and hilarious. i actually can't do it lying down as I lose the battle every time. I always sit up and do it and once i start to surrender I lay down and fall asleep. All that matters really is to repeatedly feel it and impress that feeling on the subconscious mind

    Sometimes I’d forget if I did a scene before I fell asleep. I don’t even remember falling asleep, my mind would drift off. The attempts to do SATS I get anxiety because of other things. Very accurate video.

    You can also just visualize 1 scene or picture of what you want. For example, shaking the interviewers hand (because you got the job); kissing your person; driving that new car, etc. You can also say "thank you universe/God, it's done"; "isn't it wonderful!".

    I have the opposite problem, I take too long to fall asleep so usually listening to my ASMR custom affirmations works better, then I do the SATS once I inevitably wake up in the middle of the night and go back to sleep again, which comes around way easier. But fighting the random things popping into the mind is hard indeed.

    When I first attempted sats a few months ago l, I was able to get it on my second night of trying(and was able to manifest what I wanted🥹💖)… I stopped doing it and now here I am struggling to do it😭

    😂😂😂 My problem since 3 years now! Since I managed to sleep in SATS for only 2 hours and ended receiving 2000€! Since then, I put pressure on myself 😂.
