    Nice bike! I almost bought one, but got a Ducati V4 Pikes Peak instead. It came with Pirelli Rosso Corsa IV tires and they wore out at 4500 miles. I decided to go with the Road 6 tires and holy cow, do they ride SMOOTH!!! Makes my bike 20% better to ride! For me, the dry traction is also a 10 as I ride hard in the canyons every weekend. The Pirelli's have a very stiff sidewall and come with not much tread on them, so the Road 6 is a FAR SUPERIOR tire overall.

    Very timely video for me, thank you. About to pull the trigger on getting a set of Road 6 to replace the current Pirelli Angel GT2 set on my Kawasaki Z1000SX. There's a good promotion on them at the moment, so hopefully I'll get quite a bit of change from the £400 that you paid. I like value, me...

      @@PureEvolution Thanks for the response. I got 10k miles from my Pirelli Angel GT2 (check out my views on that on my channel) and they still have just under 2mm of tread so normally I'd push then a bit longer. However, I'm getting ready for a trip to Scotland in June so new rubber is needed now.

    I’m curious how much I’d get out of a set of these? I have around 10k miles on my rear tire of s22’s. The OEM s22 barely made it 3k miles and I almost didn’t go with them for replacement but for the price I figured it’s worth a shot. For how much I’m on the highway and doing wheelies. I’m actually shocked at how well they held up. So maybe 15k or more on the road 6?

    I’ve honestly no idea how you can get that many miles out of the tyre..I know it’s all about the bike,riding style etc but after having metzler 01 se on my bike (ninja 1000sx) and only getting 3,000 miles out of them when a lot said they would do 8,000 I decided to get Michelin road 6..I’ve got to say there an amazing tyre and I’ve had no issues,I can give it stick on the twisties and never had them let go.i mainly do A road and B road riding but a few motorway miles aswell but I’ve never had a rear last over 5,000 miles and I only got 7,000 out of the front..lasted better than the metzler so I’m sticking with the road 6 but I wish I could get that many miles out of them..just put a new pair on 4 days ago so I’ll see how these go,they better last me the year

    • @PureEvolution
      @PureEvolution  Před měsícem +1

      If I think correct the ninja sx is about 230 ish kg so you might find that your chewing up tyres more as you need the GT versions that are better suited for heavier bikes also you rip.rear tyres up no.matter what if your TCS is off or on very low settings on sum bikes with that kinda power maybe try some next time round and let me know how you go would he very interested in the mileage differance

      Yea i ripped mine up to the wear bar only and didnt help as for a bit of a test i turned TCS off see waht the wear would be like and wow it went fast then turned it back onto 1 and got little more out of tyre so guess its how much power it puts to the wheel at times of load maybe and yea GT version would of been better for that bike
