- Rupaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8 Episode 5 Snatch Game + Untucked Reaction! RPDR AS8 is out reviewed the 5th episode! Which is snatch game!! We lost our 4th queen last week but they will still be competing in the fame games!! Rupaul told the queens they would be competing in the snatch game of love!! The queens each explained who they would be doing in the snatch game! The first group of queens were a bit of a mess... Then the 2nd group of queens did amazing. It was so funny!! We were laughing throughout the second act. Kahanna felt that Heidi was throwing her under the bus with her jokes in the snatch game and called her out in the werq room. This caused drama to unfold and Kandy also calling out Heidi about spreading rumors... This caused Heidi to immediately quit the competition!! She did not want any part of it. She literally left... This was a lot. Then the queens continued to get ready for the runway which was ruveal yourself.. These were the best looks of the season!! They were top quality!! The bottom 2 queens were Kahanna Montrese and Jessica Wild! The winner the 5th this episode was Jimbo! We have normal all star rules but the eliminated queens will have a chance to show their runway looks and have the audience pick which eliminated queen deserves to win Queen of the Fame Games! Jimbo had to lip sync vs a lip sync assassin. The lip sync assassin this week was Jasmine Kennedie. Jasmine won the 5th lip sync.. Jimbo cannot win these lip syncs.. Because Heidi left rupaul decided no one would be eliminated this week.. We then reacted to the 5th untucked. What did you think of the fourth episode?!? Who are you rooting for?!?! The thing about having way too many acting challenges is that the queen with the acting talent will always have a better track record. So the queens that excel in other areas (lip synching, make-up, designing) end up being overlooked, even if they're the best at what they do
Having more than half the challenges be acting and having and making the Snatch game such a big deal is the same reason Bob, Jinx, and Bendela did so well

I'm so pissed we were robbed of a snatch game with Jimbo and Baga Chipz.
Heidi is clearly a sweet, good-hearted person--remember in S12 when everybody was ganging up on Aiden and Heidi was the only queen to stand up and protect Aiden? It's also clear that Heidi's been struggling with her emotions this season. I mean, she'd burst into tears twice by the third episode--first while talking to Ru about her grandmother's death, and second as Mrs. Kasha Davis sashayed away. Now, most people, if they saw a coworker crying in the office twice in one month, would try to be kind and supportive of that coworker. And yet, Kandy has done the exact opposite here. For example, when Heidi whispered to her during Untucked that she wanted to quit, Kandy decided to embarrass Heidi by announcing it to the entire workroom the next day. And when there was conflict between Heidi and Kahanna this episode, Kandy decided to dogpile on Heidi by making unfair accusations against her. I mean, with "friends" like Kandy, who needs enemies?
I never liked kandy since her debut I find her obnoxious and stuck up tries to play it off with im a Jersey girl. To top it off you can tell she's schemeful when she's not sure of her position. In my opinion someone needs to bring her down to earth asap.
I'm not gonna lie.. the most annoying part of this season is Ms. Alexis Michele always trynna make a moment about her when others are hurting. It's giving overproduced...
She's rubbing me the wrong way. When Heidi walked away and she went on a tangent and started crying, I was rolling my eyes from state to state. I don't know her in person. So, I can't judge. But her in the show is not doing her any favors for me. But people will love it or hate it.

I was thinking the same. I was yelling the whole time they were all saying in untucked that Heidi would have been bottom. Based on what was shown, I don't think she did horrible. But maybe they saw something we didn't that never made the edit. Loooove Jessica but it was a rough performance, sadly.
Jimbo’s strength does not lie in lip syncing😅, so if they crown based on a final lip sync👀….. They’ll probably pull the same move they did for All Stars 7 and claim the decision is based on the lip sync and the final two queens’ performances all season long. That way, they can cover their tracks if Jimbo wins because honestly I don’t see her beating most of the remaining queens in a lip sync, but her performance thus far has been great, so I could see them doing that. Like lots of people have said for All Stars 7, Monét won the lip sync, but Jinkx won the season, and I could see that happening here too if Jimbo is in the top 2.
Jimbo knows what she was gonna have to do to win.. she's probably practiced and all this is a ruse, what we expect.. If she makes it to the 2, and I think she will... I would bet she kills it, in a huge moment for her..

Been waiting for one of the reaction channels I follow to put this episode up ALL DAY, and the best one putting it up first totally meshes with my vibes.
Jimbo and Jaymes killed snatch game, Alexis did amazing as well. And Heidi chose herself over being forced through a situation they didn't actually want, love that for her.
They really ganged upon heidi and did her dirty... no wonder she decided to leave.. Kandy is really competitive in a toxic way.
If Heidi had stayed, even if she would have been in the bottom, there was no way Jimbo would send her home over kahanna. Which only would have resulted in heidi catching hell from the fans and the girls for "sabotaging" kahanna, and only would have endured worse mental damage until production gave Kandy the chance to eliminate her. Ms Heidi definitely made the right call

That and Kandy kept saying that it wasn't supposed to end the way it did. Sort of makes me think Heidi was telling the truth. But of course, I can't say for sure. Just a speculation.

I think we're now seeing the one problem that comes with putting so much weight on a big final lip sync for each week's winner: there are TONS of ways to be a great drag queen that don't involve being a great lip sync-er, and so winners like Jimbo don't work well with this format. Imagine if someone like Bianca del Rio was forced to go through this sort of format!

I am so scared they are setting up Jimbo to be Manila’d. So Jimbo needs to continue winning/being safe. I also have a feeling that Jimbo might be throwing the lip syncs to avoid making the decision. She learned her lesson from UKvW to play fair so there’s no target on her back, but her constantly winning is. Ugh. I am praying for Jimbo winning this season!

Jimbo snatch was good, using Shirley Temple as a dating thing kinda weird but overall did good. Runway for me Alexis was good so it was a difficult choice to make and I'm no Jimbo fanatic

The argument was dumb because, even if Kandy planned ro take out Jimbo, if that would be considered unfair because Jimbo did the best so far, so she "wouldn't deserve ro go home" how is that any different than having a secret alliance that saves you if you did the worst and end up in the bottom over the queen that "deserved" to stay? It's not shady either way, there's only 1 winner, if you want to win you should be gunning for Jimbo lol.

I'm equal parts understanding and equal parts dissapointed in Heidi. I 100% Understand wanting to step away and leave when the situation gets too toxic but I wish she had stood up for herself like she used to do (like where is the girl who called out Nikki Minaj to her face?!) and hadn't quit when she was doing consistently well. Same with Darrien lake. It feel like the queens who were so cutthroat in their season mellowed down in this one and it's a shame.
I say this as a huge Heidi N closet fan and as someone who was rooting for her to win since day 1. It's a real shame.

I get Kandy wants to win, but someone had better make her understand something - when you are on the world's stage (literally, this stuff isn't even just on tv all over the world, this is gonna live FOREVER online) and act like a bully and a brat? EVERYONE can see it. And judge accordingly. I can't help but think there are gonna be fewer gigs for her after this and a whole lot of people are gonna be pulling back. Club owners don't have time for this catty crap and while she is a decent queen? She isn't good enough to make up for a bratty personality. She isn't RuPaul, she doesn't have the experience yet - just running on mostly mouth and bullying. And Alexis... at the end of the day Alexis is both a mature queen and a goddamn grownup. She lied. She is desperate and while once of my favorite queens? I wouldn't go see a Kandy or Alexis show now if you paid for my ticket. I don't have time for bullies and wannabe's. I've worked in clubs behind the scenes - this shite? It catches up to people. People talk. And frankly, 80% of gigs come by word of mouth and backstage talk. I shudder to think what that talk now is made of.

Jimbo deserved the second consecutive win. Her performance and look were next level. The bottom two were always going to be Jessica Wild and Kahanna. Alexis, Jaymes, Heidi, Kandy, and LaLaRi were safe in that order. Heidi should've held her ground and been more patient. Kahanna would've rightfully been voted out. Non-eliminations are never as satisfying. Production will keep Jimbo safe or in the top until the very end in order to avoid a petty, shock elimination that destroys the quality and momentum of the season.
The real question is, who won the lipsync for love?? Neither of them knew the words but the pink one was really serving

Jimbo was hilarious but honestly would've liked to see Alexis win. Not only is it too obvious Jimbo is gonna win the whole season but also.... the lipsyncs are meh. Even Jaymes winning would've been fine. Heidi leaving is a little weird tbh, I feel like if she just slept on it and had a talk with the girls everything would've been fine!

I think that maybe Heidi tried to play the game in a way, which is out of her character, and didn't know what to do when it backfired. We saw a bit of this when she was contemplating the two different alliances. It was sad to see her go and even sadder that she will not be able to participate in the Fame Games. 💔

Heidi was not in the bottom you guys, you saw what you saw she was top 2 in the group. how are you going to turn a blind eye to that, please don’t believe whatever bs is being thrown, you saw what you saw Heidi was top/safe.
