Daijun Edwards will make the roster hes very good love the way he runs kinda surprised he didn't get drafted
Hines Ward played QB at Georgia....and he was a beast at WR....just ask Bengals LB with the broken jaw...Randle El was also QB transitioned to WR...He fits the Steelers mentality of offense
I’m sure he’s not signed, but any thoughts on Shon Stephens? Joey Porter Jrs cousin, lead D2 in interceptions and pass break ups, should’ve been D1 but was never granted eligibility. Steelers bringing him in for rookie camp. Not much tape on him that I can find. Steelers Nation what do yinz think?
Bishop could end up being the slot CB
Sorry - in short space he is way too slow for the slot. They will use a combo of guys based match up - could see Watts in the 3 safety package matching up with TEs.

John Rhys Plumlee comes in as one of the fastest players in the NFL. Certainly faster than anyone at the QB position!

I'm surprised how nobody has pointed out how similar John Rhys-Plumlee is to a young Russel Wilson it's obvious to me they wanted to get a young QB that could relate to Russell Wilson in do many ways, and possibly still contribute like an Antwan Randle El at the same time he's developing from RW3 mentorship

This might be a list to visit again later on as the Steelers are bringing in a few rookies for tryouts so they are probably not done with signings.
Plumlee - No for QB but being diverse as a WR and ST, Yes! And that will give a secret third QB on the active roster! Then the team can technically have 4 QB, with another on the practice squad.

Why so few udfa's? The SB champs brought in 23. The Ravens, 20. Most clubs brought in at least 10.
Of-course John-Rhs-Plumlee makes the roster, and look at his mentor RW3 is the same style QB JRP might be RW3 2.0, or Randel El 2.0

Steelers fans don’t reference Taysom Hill. They reference the original ‘Slash’ , Kordell Stewart.

Plumlee either makes it as a WR or not at all. He has no arm strength. He's Randel El at best but he's not a QB.
Beanie Bishop has a fast 40 time but plays much slower. Watch the game against NC's backup QB and he gets burnt repeatedly until the NC offensive line collapses in the 2nd half. This is one of those guys who looks good from a RAS standpoint and not so good on tape.
Edwards is a good pickup, solid player and could make RB3. But he may be redundant with Warren already on the roster.
Welschof has little tape (injured most of last season) but gets stood up and plays too high. Nice motor.
Windmon plays a lot faster and quicker on the field and has some pretty decent rush moves, including a nice dip move.

Oladakun was our 4th string QB we had kenny, mitch, & mason. Plummee will be our 3rd string QB so he stays. Russ, justin, plummee
I think at the very least, if not the 53 man roster, the Steelers are looking to keep him on the scout team as someone that can mimic Lamar Jackson in practice.
