We don’t follow gossip, rumours or conjecture, we don’t have inside information, and broadly speaking we don’t consider the brand value of players - merely their suitability to the team in question.

Totally agree Daniel - the video would surely have had Arsenal chiefs clearly confused at 2:15; weak link across the defence and defensive , priority across multiple transfer windows for CB, FB and DM? Tbh, just hope Arteta gets the proper support to overhaul the unbalanced squad.
Arsenal had this with that dortmund scout but they got rid of him.

Been hearing that for 2 years
since the topic of video scouting came up: there are companies that have specialised on filming football games for tactical analysis by having a seperate camera that‘s always filmimng all the players on the pitch. here in Austria for example they film all the games of the youth league and second league, while the Bundesliga has its own camera system that‘s permanently installed in all stadiums. but both systems make it possible for the teams and possibly scouts to look at single players as if they were watching the game live, so in general scouts don‘t always have to rely on just normal game footage
(for example, I think Salzburg scouted Hee Chan Hwang only through video footage)

Great content as always, really enjoy your videos. Maybe a slightly different kind of video series you'll could do would be "sensible managers"? Where you'll could recommend potential managers to clubs who are in need? I guess you'll could analyze things like styles of play matching that to squad availability, tenacity to pick youth, matching that to the history of the club etc. Not very often are clubs in need of new managers, a potential recommendation for a start could be Manchester United?

Would be cool if more players from Southern Africa got scouted by the European teams. The South African league is the most developed in Africa so surely there must be potential gems in this league. Our most recent export is Percy Tau who currently plays for Club Brugge.

Was hoping they actually would suggest players. I'm a hull city fan we're in the same position league wise as Winchester but our right midfielder could leave us so was hoping to know what sensible transfers suggested. ( for me it would probably be josh bowler only a 5mil release clause and he's already showing similar signs to Bowens ability)

After watched your "Turkish Super League" video (the one that talks about economics of the teams and how badly it's going) I watched this.
Being a Turkish football supporter I have to say, this is where we got it "the wrongest".
We scout the 5 top leagues in Europe. At least the big 4 I mean.
We keep an eye on this leagues and immidiately, a player is unwanted in his club, we are the destination with a crazy amount of money.
Check the transfers we had made in the last decade. (2010 - 2020)

Sneijder (He at least performed as expected for a time)

Feghouli
etc.
Instead, we need to invest in young development like Germany did after 2002 or scout the younger talents before they make an apperance.
Imagine this, Erling Haaland is scout offered to Galatasaray by an ex Galatasaray player Johan Elmander.
Scout team says "he's not compatible with our playing system."
Look at Haaland now.
Saying it again, this is where we got it wrong.
