We in the US jump and shout, in Russia and other cultures, they sit so as not to block the view of those behind them, ( being polite) and instead, they sit and applaud and rush flowers to the stage. What a wonderful song🥰. Love Is Like A Dream was written by Igor Krutoy for the Russian singer Alla Pugacheva some years ago. But Dimash sings it totally different. And more beautiful.
Igor Krutoy is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship.

I love this song and it’s one of my favorites. Thank you for promoting Dimash. I found him 3 years ago through a reaction channel and slowly Dimash is getting known worldwide.

Dimash does not always go into his extreme high registers. He has beautiful songs that stay in 2 - 2 1/2 registers in chest/mixed or chest/head voice. Listen to his gorgeous original Kazakh song Makhabbat Ber Magan (Give Me Love) 2021 Dimash Digital Show online concert during quarantine and Qaraqym'ai from the same online concert a beautiful and sorrow filled cover dedicated to his deceased teacher who composed the song.
Knowing the back story to some of his songs makes them even greater. Listening to DImash and Igor together is like a relaxing day in Paradise.
The culture in Russia is that the audience sit and enjoy the magic of the oerformance, but shower the artist with flowers after. Dimash receives hundreds of bouquets and donates them to old people’s homes or hospitals.
