Don't enable Game Mode as that's been tested and does nothing for CPU bottlenecks on most systems! Please don't disable anti-virus especially if using mods for ANY game!
windows antivirus hurts performance and has more false positives than catching actual viruses. I personally would recommend disabling windows antivirus with win aero tweaker and using Malwarebytes or some other antivirus.

However, I get these massive stutters where my fps drops to the 70's, it feels like a slideshow though not smooth at all. Lasts for 5-30 seconds. Assuming it happens when bots spawn or new area or something gets loaded. If you change spawn settings and limit bot amounts, arent your raids just dead?
Not at all, I find that the game has a rampant spawning problem - by default, there are a ton of bots in raids that don't need to be there. I bring the spawns way down and it's better for everything, including performance and immersion. I never had a dead raid. So it could well be spawns hurting your performance. It would be worth experimenting with extremely low spawn rates and going up from there.
@thestarvox Yes, it would be great if you share your settings regarding those bot spawn settings. I have a good rig ( 4080, 12700k 32gb ram ) and the game goes from 150fps to dogshit 50 in a second. Very stuttery, very inconsistent performance. It made me stop playing spt.
when i play realism, the pmcs take FOREVER to spawn, to the point where i think they wont spawn in. is there maybe a mod thats conflicting with realism or is that just how realism works?
I'd have to see your mod list to find out, but SWAG+Donuts handles bot spawns if you've got that installed. Without knowing, I'd even say it could be a load order issue. Use Dynamic Maps and/or BotMonitor to check those spawns.
Is the donut mod you add a cheating tool or looked at as a cheating tool? I know its not like just right out there like some but if i used it regularly would ihave to worry about getting banned for using 3rd party services

bro, mine was like this, lots of bots and pmcs together, total chaos, I didn't have time to heal, to recharge or anything, they all came at me without giving me breath, I tried everything and I couldn't balance it, apart from the difficulty that every bot was better than the real players, even giving a jump shot, that and the performance made me uninstall, as I couldn't find anywhere how to improve.. =\

Should really think about what youre installing. Id rather deal with cheaters than deal with leaving my pc open to viruses.
If tarkov can run on non-microsoft, non-apple, non-android operating systems (Linux/BSD, etc etc...) switching to a heavily de-bloated distribution will greatly enhance performance
Also, reduce the number of bots especially on Streets map.

How do I do this? I've been struggling with a 40-ish fps raids on Reserve that I've never had on Live tarkov and it kinda pisses me off

3.9.0 is a VERY early development build, current public release is 3.8.3 (basically the same as 3.8.0 and above)

The Declutterer is a useful mod, but I get a lot of comments from users that don't set their in-game graphics properly.

i5 10600kf, rx 6600, 16 gb RAM. Also 30-50 fps. CPU can't give more. EFT like a lot of L2 and L3 cache of CPU.

a 3060 and a 13600k will give you 143 fps with almost all settings maxed.
