One can always make their own flash cards, one side English, one side Spanish. The physical act of actually writing out the sentences furthur reinforces the learning process. Besides flash cards rock! Blank ones sold, prepunched w/ a metal ring exists on the various shopping platforms. Have fun. 😊

Suggestion... Maybe add an indication if the word changes depending on male or female. Like estoy cansado. Maybe underline the o or have an o/a marking in the corner to indicate that it's cansado (for male) and cansada (for female).

I love this, but one suggestion maybe you could put formal (usted) or informal (tú) for beginners who don't know about that because most of your commands are in the informal form, but we wouldn't say them to someone we don't know well...just an idea! Thanks so much for doing this!

This is so useful. Also when I read and listen I split up some phrases and can use certain parts with other words.
I see some criticism re feminine and masculine etc. However I use this in combination with simple grammar rules elsewhere. This is great for sounding fluid and being understood but it is not to be used alone if you are serious about learning Spanish fluently. It is a great shortcut for someone visiting and wishing to learn a little to not only be understood but to understand someone Spanish speaking to you.
I love it and I can easily scroll back or forward to phrases I particularly want to practice. It is not a stand alone to learn everything. It is a great addition to other tools and so helpful. Thanks ❤❤❤
PS I have subscribed and also looked at all the videos you have. I love that there are a mix of different levels of learning. This I feel is going to be my go to channel for listening as I become more proficient. I think sometimes learners forget it is not just about us learning to speak a language but about being able to listen and understand when a Spanish person speaks to us.
A treasure trove of videos. I am glad I found you ❤

I've been trying to find a way for my wife to be more involved in studying Spanish. This video is going to transform our understanding of this amazingly beautiful and respectful way of communicating in these argumentative days. The sincerity of each statement helped me to feel the humility and deep respect for the listener - that the Spanish language is capable of expressing with sublime elegance.
Listen again to this recording and feel the age-old elegance of Spanish as it's meant to be spoken, with heart AND mind. I am undone for the bittersweetness of it. Thank you for such beautiful and heartfelt content, amiga! Gracias!!!❤❤❤😊😊😊😊

I quite agree about the repetition. It gives you time to repeat the phrase and also digest the vocabulary and even think about the grammar. Most of these sites just seem to think the goal is to get through as many phrases as possible as fast as you can!

These are very good phrases by think there's often a more direct English translation than what is stated, like claro and "i understand" vs "clear", like "clear" or "I'm clear on that". I find it helps with memory if you can map it to English more closely.
