I would like to see this installed in a heavy clay soil area to see how it drains. Clearly it drains well with just stone or porous soil. Does the fabric clog in clay soils?
Does the 3 inches of grass sod in anyway slow down the flow to the pipes in heavy rain. Will heavy water flow pass right over grass which is over the pipe below or does it sink immediately trough the grass. I saw your demo here and with the wrap on another post but wondered about the grass itself...Dumb question but always wondered about it when watching your vids...Thanks
Can you do this test again with the sock on the high octane pipe in order to keep fragmented rock pieces out of the inlets in situations when 1.5 round rock can't be obtained?
I'm installing a french drain with all FDM stuff! Why is the water in my trench flowing around the pipe rather than through it?? There are no clogs. I assume it's because I didn't level the trench side to side even though it's sloped downhill. The grade side to side varies a lot in some spots, so I assume it forces the water out of the side of the pipe.
French Drain Man... Can you show some end drain solutions if you live in a city? From watching your videos I know how I would like to route my french drain incorporating the gutters, but I'm not sure how and where I will attempt to discharge the water. On the sidewalk on the street? I'm not sure I've ever seen a video with the end of the system in a city. Thanks for reading and hopefully commenting or linking to a video show this.
Do you offer system design consultation to DIYers who want to do the work themselves but don't have the know-how of what exactly is needed? I'm in Charleston, SC where draining is a huge issue. Would love to have a small culvert under my driveway as well as a way to move standing water out from the middle of my back yard, and out away from my house. Am willing to buy the products from you, but not sure what I need!

What about clay clog the Geotextile nonwoven fabric? Sand drains well while clay drains poor.
