    Wonder if reabar is a hard steel? If I'm not mistaken it is a kind of soft steel. Why not make the knife from vehicle spring plate or tractor plough disc which would has harder material

      Thank you. It is true that vehicle spring plate or tractor plough disc has harder material but this is an order from customer. They brought their own metal for us to do it and our blacksmith explained them clearly about the quality of metal.

      Its is true depending on type of rebar. It needs some carbon to be strong and not rust much from concrete. Water hardening will be best for rebar

    Reabar is Iron isn't it.
    So Will it be sharp like Steel.
    Rebar might not be good
    Comparing this decent effort like this.
    Is it worth for this much effort...?????

    That is great work to get such a good finish from an old Rebar. I'm just starting & I've made some Rebar knives. Not as good as this. I still have a long way to go. What kind of Grinding Disk do you use? It looks like Porcelain or something? Mine don't seem to last very long and wear out on one job.

    Rebar is not good for knives. It isn't very strong.

    Are you related to K K Daily?

    • @AmazingDailyWorks
      @AmazingDailyWorks  Před 3 lety

      Thank you for your comment, Sir. We are not related to KK Daily, we are a group of the blacksmith in Siem Reap of Cambodia that made the knife when we received an order from local people and farmers. Again, thank you for your valued time to watch our channel.
