- Chapter 1112 was the Gorosei's chapter, and we witnessed their powerful abilities. Luffy couldn't even harm Warcury, whereas the same attack smashed Kaido. Ju Peter and Nusjuro are also unstoppable. Are they stronger than the Yonko?

After seeing Warcury survive Red Roc like it was nothing. I'm convinced that Kaido has nothing against the Gorosei.
Thinking the 5 of the Gorosei are equally strong is a mistake. Saturn has been a regenerative punching bag since the beginning and Jupiter hasn't been shining exactly. Mars, Mercury and mostly Venus have been a far bigger menace so far. In my opinion, aside of Mercury, Kaido can go 1 on 1 with any other member and have decent chances of winning
Warcury literally just shown a durability feat greater than Kaido's. But it doesn't mean he's stronger overall. What about his attack power? his advanced haki? Speed? etc... durability and his regeneration hax seems to only be the weapon he has above Kaido.

@@mstr2931. Thats more than enough already without them going all out so far 2. They are the apex (outside Imu) with warrior epithets of the most powerful organization for 800+ years in a world ruled by sheer strength and stupid busted magic powers
3. Jinbei who witnessed all the Yonkou and even talked trash to Big Mom called their Haki unbelievable, Warcury even greeted with a conquerors Haki roar like a raging Big Mom in Whole Cake
4. General Shonen Powercreep dictates that they're gonna be more powerful and defeating them + Imu finally lets the new generation truly surpass the old
@@anna_medeiayeah these people who think “old villains can beat the new” have to learn thats not how storytelling works. Its just 1) makes no sense to do that, as there isnt the feeling of impending danger and 2) doesnt help the characters progress

I feel it's really interesting how Nusjuro is down to Earth regarding his size. I mean yeah his is tall and all , even taller in hybrid. But nothing like the typical beast size Zoro was facing recently( dinosaurs and citysize stone giants) it feels like a great opportunity for sword clashes to be expanded.

I say that it is either Kuma or some pacifist, it could also be S-Doctor, i.e. Serahim based on D. Walter Law's Trafalgar, and his Room, which could remove immortality from Gorosei and be a problem for that one minute.

Once Gorosei lose their regeneration somehow, they get one tapped by Franky, literally.
Their durability is in the negatives, Mars got Nuke 20 times by the dome, something with Bonney and Kaku tanked in the base.
All of their AP is in the negatives, the only guy with real AP is Saturn, but then again, it has to land, but with his horrible speed, that's never going to happen.
And the only guy with real durability is Topman, but his Zoan is based around an ancient Japanese creature of Folklore, which has an insanely durable skin, and especially so around the skull part, where he was hit in the first place, in the said legend he died by having his stomach stabbed, which has vulnerable skin around those parts.
That's like punching a turtle in it's shell instead of it's head, come on now.
And Luffy did not use ACOC, with it, he'd hurt and penetrate his defenses, but that doesn't matter in the first place, since they can regenerate.
You could argue that with infinite regeneration one of them could literally beat the entire verse, but that's just silly, someone with strong enough haki and hax like Law could literally cut them into pieces.
As they have not had any haki feats whatsoever, best one of them could do is base COC roar, which Fishman island Luffy did but 100 times better, as Topman couldn't even knock out Vice Admirals, which were knocked out in one punch by Franky.
It barely managed to knock out regular marines.

The awakened "clouds" on their backs, the fact that they're hellbent in hiding despite being "indestructible", magical abilities only specific to each Gorosei, them being actually broken gives Straw Hats 0 chances of harming them, etc... it all points out to a weakness waiting to be exposed!

This ability seems to be specific to his awakened form, as Ju Peter and Saturn can still easily be cut/stabbed by others. Like each Gorosei have their unique abilities that make them stand out.
Think of it this way. In terms of physical strength, it's certain that Jesus Burgess is stronger than Kaido considering that Burgess literally ate the strength fruit. But does that mean that Burgess beats Kaido in a fight? Absolutely not!
I'm willing to bet that eyepokes or n*t shots can hurt the damn boar.

@@Laonaadoo My point is that his fighting capabilities is different from single feats like lifting or taking punches. Like for example, a real-life weight lifter can lift more than you BUT if you're a professional MMA fighter of the same size. The weight lifter has no chance vs you in a fight.

Majority of this community (including in this videos comments) are showing way more disrespect than this guy in this video in particular, he for once was actually just mentioning what is portrayed at multiple points in this Manga already.
6:24 Harmed Kaido severely? Kaido was NEVER in any danger despite all the attacks done to him until Luffy finally got Gear 5. Dude was holding back A LOT and only went all out DURING his fight Gear 5. You can see this when Kaido was slowly showing more of his power as the fight goes on. Only showing future sight, drunken techniques and flaming bagua much later.
I'm just waiting for that "catch" that exposes the Gorosei's weakness. If they're truly this powerful AND immortal, THERE'S NO WAY LUFFY'S GONNA WIN! Their "awakened" forms makes me think that it's no different from your standard DF weakness like kairoseki or sea water. Perhaps the effects are more potent as a consequence for their "immortality".
There's also your standard anime immortality weakness like trapping them/immobilizing them like with Goku vs Zamasu using the Mafuba or Kurama using the vampire plant to trap elder Toguro for all eternity.

@@Letsgo1234-iz1dy Also, I'm not arguing Kaido vs Luffy right now. I'm focused on the Gorosei! Without their hax, none of them can't even hit/harm Luffy outright. So I'm 100% sure that without their hax, their fighting abilities aren't as impressive as the OG Yonko or even the Admirals.
If gorosei are not this strong and we know holyknights are weaker than them this mean they are only strong as a team not individually.
Luffy vs Kizaru&Saturn pretty much proves Yonko are above Gorosei, except that they got perennial youth surgery or something. Kaido was stonger than Nika for sure. He overwhelmed Nika til last moment despite he tanked 7 samurai 4 supernova + Yamato finishers through the entire day. Nika needs to take at least one clean hit with Ocean Sovereignty to be even.
It only "proves" that if you're reading Two Piece. Luffy himself calls them immortals and Jinbei who witnessed Admiral, all Yonkou and even talked trash to Big Mom calls their Haki unbelievable, i'm sorry that most of this community is so illiterate.

@@mstr293 He also did a Conqueror's Haki Roar. The Gorosei aren't going all out, but they aren't being completely dominated like Kaido was when he was holding back. We don't know enough about the Gorosei, so to saying with 100% assurance would be agenda.

@@Laonaadoo My favourite characters are Luffy, Zoro and Shanks, Kaido only beats one of them (Zoro), and Zoro will surpass him after he beats the Gorosei (possibly even before facing Mihawk). Heck, if Sanji is fighting a Gorosei member too, he'll be stronger than Kaido and Big Mom too.

Yeah i'm convinced that majority of this community is illiterate af, you're totally right about Gorosei being above Yonkou. Gear 5 Luffy who defeated Kaido not only can't meaningfully do lasting damage with attacks that incapacitate Admiral Kizaru, but describes them as immortals and Jinbei who witnessed all of the Yonkou & Admirals calls the Haki of these ancient Demons at the apex of the most powerful organization "unbelievable", how much more portrayal do you need to understand that they're next level and that Luffy needs to reach the next level to become Pirate King, be able to defeat those demons and to actually challenge the King/Queen Imu.
Of course it isn't close because its 5v1
