Pepe's opened where I live and it has been a constant favourite ever since. We usually get the half or full chicken (extra hot) with some chips. The chips are excellent, best takeaway chips anywhere. The best part is dipping the chips in the spicy chicken juices that collect in the bottom of the bag. Devine.
Had to watch on Sunday as I was on a wild walk about Saturday but this looked extremely tasty and hot none the less. Don't know about the UK but it's St. Patrick's Day here so had Irish Stew Saturday night, very nice. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I’m glad you enjoyed it Paul! I had a feeling it was going to be hot! I’m a mid-heat kind of guy, that’s why I thought the inferno would be hot, especially when the mild had a kick for me!

Nice looking meal you had. Looked delicious. My motd was late night nachos with plenty of fresh jalapenos on them. And a few Coors Banquet. It was late because i had a late shift till 9pm. Have a great wknd. Looking forward to the mornin shave vid

love me some piri piri chicken, the one that i get isnt too spicy, but the fresh pepers/garlic combo is addicting. DOTD: German Korn Genever 38% with a Jever pilsner(4.9%). Cheers Paul.

Makes me think of Popeye's in the States, a slight Cajun style mix...some heat at this chain, LSU is located in Cajun country and knows some heat.Thank for a great review, Paul!

I'm guessing you'll be having that again as much as you enjoyed the heat in that takeaway. I think I did see a bit of smoke rising out your ears 😉. It certainly looked like a bountiful serving in the box plus generous sides of fries and wings. Tomorrow's meal will be a sharp contrast for sure!

Wish we could get a piri piri near , settled on chicken gizzards today . Church's had a local special 20 deep southern style fried gizzards for $8.50 . I made pot of onion and brown gravy with roasted new potatoes plus garlic toast . Had a new drink called Mad dog tangerine and mango at 9.7 apv ! It was quite powerful. Funny though you could taste the alcohol with the tangerine but I couldn't find the mango anywhere 😂 no finish or after taste at all never had anything quite like it. Probably never will again .
I spiced up the gizzards with a mix of leftover sauces ( cleared out the fridge lol ) [Frank's XXX hot , Dave's insanity, sweet heat hickory BBQ, Matuke's Jamaican orange sunshine scotch bonnet/scorpion/habenjero- last bottle I've had for years and it was down to the botton and still hot as a chrome .22 belly gun on Saturday night . ] ~ I used it as a dipping sauce for the gizzards . You would have enjoyed the concoction! Made me sneeze 😰 sweat, eyes watered like i was crying cause my dog died , and even got the sniffles in the nose . I enjoyed every bite !!! lol 😂. Onion gravy hit home just right too 😊 . Finished off that 16 oz and then went to good old Guinness . Always my favorite. For dessert I had a slice of fresh home made apple pie 🥧! It's going to be a long next ten days straight at work so I thought I'd let loose tonight 😊🎉... tomorrow we have a St Patrick's day boiled Corned Beef and cabbage with parsnips and potatoes plus irish soda bread and of course Guinness.

That looked ok that mate, I've got something similar that my lady friend picked up for me on her way home, POPEYES chicken, its an American chain, we've got a few in London. And it was so good! Again, they do a super hot which was very wow!
