Hi Paul, I have had the chicken Phaal from Heron foods in Wrexham, with micro wave egg fried rice from Heron foods, I do like it ,Grolsch larger is from The Netherlands like you said a big thing in the 80's. When I was 17 we use to put the bottle caps across the laces on our trainers usually Adidas or Nike that was in 1987. You might want to watch the Bald Foodie guy, ( Gareth ) He goes out buys food from supermarkets, markets, butchers ,bakers, food stalls and take a ways, it is a good food channel, he is from Barrow in NW England. The Grolsch bottle tops thing was actually started by the pop group Bros, they wore them on their D.M's in their first video and it took off from there. One of those weird 80's crazes like ripping the V.W badges off and wearing them as necklaces (thank the Beastie Boys for that one)
Great review..the Vindaloo from Heron is the hottest i can manage after a few pints so i wont go for this but Heron probably does the best supermarket curries out of all of them imo ...
Hey Paul great looking meal. Can you believe I've never had chip with my curry ever. Well you know im going to have to change that😅. My week has been very strandered nothing to crazy. We had a very last day of warmer weather Thursday was 21 degrees and the very next day we dropped to 10. That's how it goes in Southern Ontario. I like your comment about reviewing it with respect. You get what you pay for. Take care
That was a mouth-watering curry dish. The "chips" was a nice side dish. If it's limited, you should get a couple more and freeze them. I'll see you for your Sunday shave.

I regularly eat the Vindaloo Heron one which is gorgeous and my kinda spice. I have the Phall one in the freezer and will have it tonight which will be spicier than Vindaloo! Can’t wait to try it! X

Paul, are you over wintering your chilli plants? I've had the same plant going for 4 years. If you cut them back and keep them inside they'll start to grow again in the spring and you'll get a far bigger yield next year
