I have been studying English for many years, however, I can´t speak and can´t listen because native speaks fast and with reduction and linking words. The question is how to learn which words are stressed or connected, how put this in my mind, jejeje. Thank you so much for your help, you are an amazing person and teacher

    "been" becomes "bin"

I hope it's not too late for a comment on this video. I just bumped into your channel and I have to say it's great.
I was wondering if you could explain how 🤔 reductions and linkings work in this sentence:
"I would have done it if you had asked me". Is it more common to say I'd have or I would've?. In a similar way, which is more often heard: ...if you'd asked me or ...if you had asked me?

    • @SmoothEnglish1

I would've done it" is a little more common, but both are widely used.
For the second question- "if you'd asked me" is a little more common. Again both are widely used. Thanks for watching!
