Did you know that words have… RHYTHM?
Maybe not like a pop song or jazz, but words have rhythm as a result of the stressed and unstressed parts in the word.
Rhythm can help you significantly with your pronunciation and with understanding other people better.
In this episode, I share with you why.

Even as a native English speaker, I find this very useful and illuminating.
hello Hada. I am very grateful for your classes. Today you made me reflect on a fact. You said that making mistakes is the best way to learn. So I imagined my ideal English class. One in which mistakes are applauded, and
motivate to commit them. I believe that the audience of a teacher who motivates to make mistakes would be much larger than others whose classes are based on:
*Do not make these mistakes in English.
*If you want to sound like a native do this.
*These are
the words you probably mispronounce.
*Don't say very instead say....
And I know that the intention is not bad, but despite being adults, it is intimidating to make mistakes, to be mocked and in the end the goal of learning English is taking steps
back. Babies, when they mispronounce a word, we applaud them, we want to hug them, just for the intent to do so, and that makes them learn more. Thank you for highlighting the importance and for motivating me to make mistakes!!!!!!
Dear Hadar,
It's very nice to meet you here!
I've watched the Amercan Accent lesson with Jennifer Forrest.
You can address me, CJ Song.
I'm from South Korea.
Thanks a million for the Rhythm of English Words. You rock.
I'm absolutely sure that I'm becoming a confident, fluent, and natural English speaker thanks to you.
Hope you have a great one.
You’re such a good teacher
You know Hadar ... you're a genius... really a genius!!! That's the reason you uncovered for us, the road for learning English!!! Your little princesses will inherited that from you!
🥰😍
You are amazing. I tried to find any video about rhythm on youtube. But, not many teacher explain like u. Thank you so much
Thank you for sharing this leçon with us from morocco
There is a usefull technique that can help you pronouce every word that you see, even if it's a new word. With this technique, you don't have to spend lots of time and effort to acquire a good pronunciation or accent. You just pay a little bit attention in each word that you encounter. 😃
Here it is!
1. most likely all the NOUNS with two syllables, we stress at the first syllable. Three-four syllables, we stress at the third syllable.
2. most likely all the VERBS with two syllables, we stress at the second syllable.
Good luck everyone.
Thank you Hadar. I love all your videos and I am your fan.
I really don't understand bro what you mean by this method could you please clarify more it's really confusing ?🙏🙏🙏
I love this content. I am an ESL teacher. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and for this detailed explanation. This is so helpful. Sharing love from the Philippines. 💕
Thank you! Sending love back!

Thank you so much! You are the most wonderful English coach in the world!
Thank you for existing in this world, I love you Hadar, thank you so much
Amazing explanation. I was very curious about the rhythm and intonation in English. I've been noticing this rhythm but I've never understood the real method cause always seems to me that the rhythm was in the sentence but as you explained the rhythm is within each word.
Although I am a native speaker of English, I found this instruction very useful. I am new
to studying Voiceover work and it gave clarity to how to say words without over pronouncing or under pronouncing. Thank you!
Thank you!!
I love your classes because you do your job with love and enthusiasm. Thank you 🥰
Hadar, please, receive our gratitude for your teachings. Be a real master, like you, is a matter of pasión and love. Thanks you!

I love you Hadar, your teaching way is unique and amazing.
Every video I'm learning new things! You're awesome!
Excellent class!! Thank you, Hadar 😊
Hi Hadar you know what? When I explain to someone which is my worst part in English I always say "the melody" and "pronunciation " that English speakers use.
Now I know that what I need is to "pronounce" properly but also the "rhythm" that maybe it is the same as "melody" but it sounds more specific both are very important 👍 thank you very much
What you said it's true, once you get used to how some words are pronounced you'll start to do it automatically.
I love these pronunciation practice videos, i can safely say that your method is unique. Thank you!
Crystal clear. Awesome explanation about word pronunciation!!!
The more I watch the more I amaze!
Love from Turkey 🇹🇷

10:15 So we feel how the language likes to be spoken. That’s brilliant Hadar. You combine the best aspects of a teacher and a coach.
I often struggle with the transition from one specific sound to another. Take something simple like “with the”. I’m well aware of the different pronunciation of the “th” in “with” and “the”. But I stumble upon the combination of the two of them with my tongue. And this goes on with other sound combinations like in “as well” “that thing” “of the” etc. Best whish so from Germany.
Love your style so much 🥰
Thank you.
Best videos i saw about english teaching, many thanks

Love From India.... 🇮🇳🇮🇳
Hello! I'm Brazilian. I like her videos.
I'm an Israeli teaching public speaking skills in Luxembourg (Europe) in English too. So I often explain prosody (in sentences). Yet, this still blew my mind. Very Interesting. Language is insanely complex. Thanks Hadar. Kol Tov.
Complex and intuitive! We often feel things that we can’t put in words. So it’s always fine to find words to explain these things - which is something you do too!
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏽🙌
You're amazing! Thank you so much!
Great examples and good explanation :) I also recommend watching Tom Scott's video "Why Shakespeare Could Never Have Been French", more entertaining approach but exCEPtionally good.
Intriguing title!
New video and new idea! Thanks for the helpful meetings!
Thank you so much. I've never thought about that, it makes a lot of difference.
