Please keep that same energy when we’re winning this year
Matt is a maniac. Went from 7 wins to 9 wins , you have to see what this year will be like before you say judgement on decline😂
4-13
@@p.michaelpell6540 💀 lose your money then
ESPN acts like we had a lot of money to spend. SMH
That’s the Saints fault, and they’ll have less money next year…
@@davidalexander3724 You miss the point. To be fair, you need to rate the team on what is even possible.
Every team has the same amount of money we need to be better than this spend wiser
@@SaintWoodyYT Guess you didn't read my previous comment. SMH
So negative bro there just catching up on the cap and staying competitive
No we are not😂 we are not a competitive team at all
@@ethansellers8413 How is winning 9 games not competive? We lost the divison on a tie breaker c’mon man
Fact of the matter is, saints were in cap hell, still are. The transition from old team to young team was seamless. Stayed on the up when rebuilding home grown talent
They’re catching up on cap while getting younger in the Wr position, Db position, o line is young and the d-line is mostly young.
What are we talking about here
Did you not hear the part where he said were 77 million dollars over the cap for next year?
We're talking about the fact that Matt either doesn't understand the salary cap or he purposefully misrepresents the cap issues so he can create content...
Worst saints channel ever this dude knows nothing bout football
That dude has been damn near dead-on in just about every video he's made when it comes to the Saints.
Know your role
@@ElectricLarry__No he hasnt all year he said we shouldve did what the panthers did and look where they today he was dead wrong on alot and he goes to national sports media to justify his points and we all know the national media always hates on the Saints even during Drew Brees era
@@joeblacjb3 We should have gotten a better QB or found one in the draft.
We also should have done a rebuild with our team just as we did in 2015-2016.
Because of that, we had plenty of success from 2017 to 2020 so Matt was right
@@ElectricLarry__ But even in those 7-9 years we didnt tear it down and got rid of all our players we rebuild through those down season exactly like we doing now. Matt wants us to get rid of all our good players and be the Jets for the next decade that strategy fails more than it succeeds
@@ElectricLarry__ You basically proved my point with your comment
Honestly I don't care what the analytics say or whatever. I'm gonna route for my team and have faith and if the saints fall short this year so be it. It'll be disappointing but I'll get over it quickly like I always have
He said everbody! There is no Saints reporter that is close to the team like Nick Underhill, Ross Jackson, Mike Triplet etc..ppl that is actully at the building with the team That agrees with that. Matt is the only person that base his opinions off espn a national media all the real reporters for the team go against national media
I just don't never like watching this dude videos, he knows the fAns dislike him
If nothing else changes going through 2024, and you're not stupid, you know the following things will happen:
Alvin Kamara will be cut after 2024. 29.1 Million cap savings
Marshon Lattimore will be traded or cut after 2024. 12 Million cap savings
Ryan Ramczyk will retire. 7 Million in cap savings
Those three alone will take 48 million off of the Saints cap issues next season. That combined with the expected salary cap increase will put the Saints below the cap without any other moves, and there will be other moves.
They cannot win with you. If they made a bunch of big free agent signings you would’ve complained that they were wasting future money on a dead end season. Instead they’re working on getting the cap right. Which is what you want and you’re still quoting all the people who said we we had a bad offseason because we didn’t make big moves. Would you be happy if we traded Lattimore for a future 4th or 5th round pick? Because that’s what we’d get for him. Take that piece out about you love to interact. You’ve never posted here.
ESPN doesn't understand the contracts. Trading vets would have made the cap situation WORSE.
Not really. We could've flipped Kamara & Lattimore, cut Ramczyk. Didn't have to restructure Taysom. Could've gotten down to about $35m over the cap for next yr instead of $80. Still haven't resigned Adebo either which should've been the team's number 1 priority.
@@scoutwithoutclout I don't remember the details, but another Saints youtube channel explained it well. Cutting/trading Lattimore doesn't save us hardly anything in the first place. I never understood all the talk about us trading him.
@@SenorJuan2023it doesn’t save us this year because of the low cap hit now, it saves us for the future, because their contract is backloaded af. That’s what makes cutting or trading them worth it
@@peterpigler9790 I know how it works. Marshon has a low cap hit period now and later. Trade talk never made sense.
No Matt is not a hater...he also is not paid by the Benson media like other shows . The Saints will refuse reporters interviews if they have negative questions...they get black balled..has to be positive or else....well at least I know Matt is speaking how he truly feels and isn't a puppet..I don't always fully agree with him but yeah it's an eye opener at the least
I was at least hoping that the guy who got media discussing whether or not Mr. Irrelevant was an elite QB would at least bring some excitement to the Saints’ offense. With all the ??? on the O-line it seems doubtful.
We in cap hell but if you watched the games there was several opportunities for us to be in the playoffs but we choked huge and still went positive were gonna be alright lol
Look, I haven’t loved all the moves the saints have made as of late but you guys gotta quit acting like they are the 2017 Browns. This was a 9 and 8 team that got hot at the end of year and missed the playoffs by a tie breaker. Not saying we should be expecting a Super Bowl run but damn, a tiny bit of positivity would be nice every now and then
Matt “how the saints continue to get worse” his answer “everything espn said says so” 😭I get content slow rn but I can’t believe you just reiterate everything the article says😭
Why do half the media pronounce "Fuaga" as if it was "Fuanga"... what am I missing?
Insofar as the Saints SOP: I don't mind how they do business. I do mind that it was with Allen/Carr/Loomis.
Maybe that’s how fuagas people pronounce it
Saints are going 11-6 and winning at least one playoff game
Stay off the drugs my boy
Same prediction I have
9-8 or 10-7.
I say this because I believe Klint Kubiak will do well as OC but Carr may hold this team back
As much as I hate to say it, it’s time to dismantle this team and start fresh. I have been a Saints fan in my entire life and cannot stand the way they are doing business.
Agreed a lot of fans haven’t come to terms with this but they will eventually.
@@ethansellers8413true that friend 😅
Learn football the saints are def better then they were last year as bad as our offense was we were still top 10 in some metrics and our defense is still top notch
I’m really not sold on Carr. He is the big mistake. No matter how you cut it, you still have a Quarterback that can’t cut it. I could name several other players that need to go, some also that need to stay that need to retire there. But the bulk of the coaching staff, DA and Mickey Loomis and their staff need to go. I’m still in the air on Kubiak. They definitely needed to hire Gruden and let Dennis Allen go last year.
@@RichardjouI’m not a fan of DC at all be was not all that bad he had a horrible offensive play caller and O-line
I’m gonna pin this video cause I told my dad the same thing and he said “well we’ll see”!
If your still taking the espn opinion in 2024 you lost
Stay on they azz, Matt. Growth and Development don't come from lying, pandering, and cronyism. We can only grow in an environment of Honest Critique and Integrity.
Okay Matt not you tripping and can’t wait until you eat your words please screenshot this comment you going to be singing a different tune cuz worse no they haven’t not by a long shot Dallas yes them hell no
Stay off the drugs my boy
@@Yeah.Buddy.Ikr.......the grammatical skills of some people......smh!
4-13 this season.. we are already standing in line for a top 5 draft pick...
And Kamara and Lattimore will be traded by week 8
Allen fired by week 12!
Im just saying. BEING a Fan doesnt mean you have to be fucking delusional. People who go after people for seeing shit as it is need to relax. We've seen nothing but ass play under DA.
Like just be honest even when we were good no one was saying good things about us I really don’t care what people say about the Saints
Agreed 💯. Sean Payton obviously had the vision to see how this was going to unravel and that guy despises mediocrity.
First like, first comment!

This tells you how delusional Matt is
Guess I’ll check the pessimism channel
Cry baby
Everyone is a hatter I don't care about everyone else who talks shit about the saints
How we keep getting worst the players we lost was irrelevant I guess the players we picked up is not a upgrade this is my far the worst saints channel ever
You might be right, but you’re still a terrible Debbie Downer about the future of the Saints. And …. Is it possible for you to now shout everything you say?
MATT SAYS HE ISN;T A SAINT HATER , BUT HE NEVER HAS ANYTHING POSITIVE TO SAY ,,, PLEASE MAtt pick another team to report on ,,
Matt is a diehard Saints fan.
He'll be here after every game and not afraid to call out the flaws and mistakes the team makes.
Matt also usually is spot-on when it comes to calling the outcome of games before they are played.
If you see enough of his vids, then you would know this
Don't be soft!

Sometimes the truth hurts
A real big dousche Matt is…
MATT JUST A PIECE OF ADVISE,, IF YOU ARE GOING TO COVER A TEAM MAYBE YOU SHOULD DEPEND FACTS THAT YOU SEE WITH YOUR OWN EYE;S BUT WE KNOW YOUI GET ALL YOUR INFO FROM OTHER MAINSTREAM MEDIA, SO MAYBE YOU SHOULD COVER THE FACONS OR TAMPA BAY
Your advice to Matt is like telling Bill Gates if he'll do this one other thing, he'd make another million dollars.
Totally pointless
ESPN IS NO DIFFERENT THAN THIS CITE ,, THEY ARE SAINT HATERS PERIOD EVERYONE KNOWS THAT,, SO MATT JUST FITS RIGHT IN WITH THE MAIN STREAM MEDIA, NO WE CALLED YOU A CARR AND ALLEN HATER , EVERYONE KNOWS THAT.. HOW CAN YOU KNOW ANYTHING IF YOU NEVER SHOW YOUR FACE AT CAMP, SO WE EXPECT NOTHING LESS FROM MATTT
You guys are such morons.
You wouldn't know a good team analyst if they'd fondled your butts and made you all giggle
