The dramatic life story of "Queen Susan of Albania"

On May 14, 2004, Mary Donaldson and Danish Crown Prince Frederik held a grand wedding in Copenhagen. This meant that the advertising manager from Tasmania, Australia, would one day become the queen of a European country. However, more than thirty years ago, a ranch owner's daughter from rural New South Wales, Australia, had been trying to obtain that title. She is Susan Cullen-Ward, the wife of Leka I, the former pretender to the Albanian throne.

My mom and dad were close friends of King Leka and Susan and his mother Queen Geraldine when he lived in Spain in the late 60's and early 70's. Great memories.
