I just got a Pix and Pix Party, and I'm so glad I did! There's so much to do in these. I was going to pass this release up due to the issues, and I'm so glad I thought otherwise.
I'm with you I'm loving the pix. Looking forward to receiving my smart even if I am terrified of charging it.
Just remember to ONLY charge it with your pc / laptop! Then you will be 100% fine 😊

If you have issues with the button responsiveness, I suggest putting a piece of packing tape over all 3 (like one long piece) making the piece of tape lay flat against the faceplate, if that makes sense. I don't have much trouble but almost always have issues when it comes to swiping across them. The ping-pong game pissed me off to high hell until I did that and now I can play it! ☺️

Omg thannnkk you! The complaints about the buttons and battery life are totally bs. My batteries from the dollar store last me over a week. I lost one of my rechargeables..so, that's what I'm doing till I find it.
I notice you and I both use the buttons coming in from below them..if that makes sense lol. Other peoples vids I see them using the buttons placing their thumbs over them from the left or right. That's how people accidentally hit buttons I think. They're hovering over other buttons while trying to make other selections. I thought people would realize this, but, haven't seen it mentioned anywhere. Maybe cuz it's hard to explain and I potentially sound like a rambling crazy person lmao 😅

Has someone who is just getting back in tamagotchi's I got the pics and I am absolutely loving it it's crazy seeing how these devices have changed back from when I was playing with them when version 3 and 4 were out. But I will say that the battery does last longer than 2 days mine lasted like a week but it's still a bit on the short side for my liking and the buttons are a bit finicky. For the most part they work sometimes they won't respond at all when I touch them or sometimes a different button will activate when I go to press one which I think just has to do with my thumb being a little bit on the fat side and accidentally touching the other button at the same time when I go to press one of them so they work well they're just very sensitive to touch and sometimes they won't work. But overall I'm very much like in tamagotchi I just miss being able to marry my tamagotchis and have the Matchmaker come and stuff

If anyone has a problem with the touch buttons they can just press a little off centre, diagonally up and to the right should do it for most. It doesn't have to be in the centre of the indents.

Love this hehe i just got my pix and its awsum.. batterys havent died yet after a few days and the touch buttons have been a little annoying for some games like ping pong especially, but for everything else work perfectly most of the time and with use they become easier to get right, also love that custom faceplate you have :D

You can also get the special items by going to the park on the A day that ends in a zero then they will give you the Eco bag Eco fork for Eco badge idk how to get the coupons so I get a lot of my stuff on Mr. Blinky it’s just easier and cheaper because some of it you can get for free and on your Tamagotchi you have to pay for it

I fired up my Music star recently for the first time in years and I couldn't get over how I had to press the buttons pretty hard because it wouldn't always pick up the presses. I thought it was because it was pretty old, but now that I think about it, that doesn't make sense due to my V4.5 registering inputs better!
Also thank you for making this!! It helped me decide on whether or not to get a Pix, and I think I will!

omg your faceplate is so adorable!!! Did you get a holographic paper and printed on it, or was it on normal printer paper and you put a holographic layer on top?

I like the Touch buttons they are bigger than the other buttons and they don’t hurt your finger if you touch them over and over again like the other one and my battery on my Tamagotchi pix lasts one or two weeks.

They are just regular charms, so you attach them the usual way.

‘Don’t listen to them?’ Really? Don’t come here and dismiss the experience of others. I bought 2 pix and one of them the batteries dies witin 3 days and the other one last one week. 😒
1. Get new, good quality batteries;
2. Set the brightness of the screen to lower;
3. Don't use the camera option too much, cause that is what drains the batteries most, and is not really an essential feature, although Bandai tried to advertise it as such.

I use good rechargeable batteries. And i already have the brightness on the lowest, already know that the camera is draining. Still doesn’t change the fact that one of the pix i got died faster then the other.
So again: don’t come here to dismiss other’s experiences.
@@gmkwheels I am pretty sure your PIX is deffective in such case, or your rechargeables are not as good as you think. Both my blue and purple PIX last at least two weeks, so it just sounds like you had bad luck. Also, rechargeables are not as strong as normal batteries, plus they lose capacity overtime. I am using rechargeables with my other color models too.
Also, criticism is always welcome, but dang, you just could be nicer about this.
Fyi: Your ‘don’t listen to them’ sentence isn’t nice either. So dang to you aswel. 😉
But yeah from my part there are better ways to give criticism.
On the pix: i’ve bought myself the green pix and for my kid the pink one. i had disposable batteries at first. After hers is dying out after several days i’ve decided to buy her rechargeable batteries. So they’re new as they can get. With the rechargeable’s it last her 3-4 days with low brightness and normal usage of camera. While mine (i use the camera even more) last one week. I’ve heard that the first releases has more issues when it comes to batterie span than the newer one. Not sure if that’s true. But that could explain why mine is still going strong and her batteries need to be recharged every few days.
I do like the Pix but I think you should be able to use the pix the way it’s intended and the way you want. So with camera or at the brightest without the batteries die that fast. It should last at least 2 wekes. And not that you should be minimizing the usage of the camera or brightness. I hope that Bandai will fix this in the future.
