2019年適逢阿里山森林鐵路通車107週年，林務局阿里山林業鐵路及文化資產管理處與《鐵道情報》雜誌於12月29日共同主辦「Shay Shay阿里山蒸汽機車攝影活動」。此次動態運轉特地將25號蒸氣機車頭自平地載運上阿里山與31號蒸氣機車會合。這也是兩部於1915製造的國寶級蒸汽火車頭動態復駛後，首次於十字分道、U-turn橋樑處、祝山車站，與對高岳車站等處同框運轉。
2019年は、阿里山森林鉄道が開業してから107周年です。 阿里山林業鉄路及文化資産管理処と《鐵道情報》は、2019/12/29に「Shay Shay阿里山 蒸気機関車写真キャンペーン」を共同開催しました。 シェイ式蒸気機関車25号は嘉義市から阿里山に運ばれ、蒸気機関車31号に遭遇しました。また、1915年に製造された2つの歴史的な蒸気機関車が十字分道駅、Uターン橋、祝山駅、対高岳駅で運転を再開したのは初めてです。
2019 is the 107th anniversary since the Alishan Forest Railway came into operation. The Alishan Forest Railway and Cultural Heritage Office and Rail News magazine jointly co-hosted the “Shay Shay Alishan Steam Locomotive Photography Campaign” on 2019/12/29. The Shay geared steam locomotive No. 25 was carried from Chiayi city to Alishan, and met with the steam locomotive No. 31. This is also the first time that two historic steam locomotives manufactured in 1915 resumed operation at the Shizifendao, U-turn bridge, Zhushan Station, and Dueigaoyue Station.
