Imagine there is Muslim women with no Mahram in her family (They died etc) The people in comments would prefer she should die out of starvation at home rather than going out and work. Shame on Muslims for playing 'God' by deciding who will go to hell (nauzubillah), forcing religion on everyone and using religion in wrong way to control their womens. Seriously, Allah gave us Mahram to make us feel safe and protected but we feel unsafe by our own men.
Brother and sisters, there are term and conditions for men too, when they go outside to work. In 21st century, y'all are complaining about world becoming mixed and here men is scared of men. We gotta keep our boys safe too, so they doesn't get sexual harassed by another man

Gynacologist, female doctor, female police, female teacher etc. It is best to avoid jobs in which mix-gathering is required, but women can still do it if they follow all the terms & conditions of Islam. Men have to follow them too! If a woman can do an online business, she should always avoid jobs that involve mix-gatherings. Hazrat Khadija(RA) was a business woman too.

In the very example cited, the women who went "to work" was out of necessity that their father was elderly, and stopped when Musa (AS) had married one of them, as he then took those duties. And Even then, as they "went to work," the Qur'an explicitly explains that they did NOT free mix as the workplaces of today frequently require. They purposefully waited for the men to leave the well.
Edit: ALSO add that they did NOT do even a hint of tabarujj as the example in the Quran clearly teaches as an example for women to follow. They walked behind Musa (AS) as a non-mahram, and guided him by minimal speech.

Mixing also doesn't make sense to me, basically mixing of gender in today's time has been the norm, especially in work place - i mean there is both woman and man, doesn't mean there's no segregation. Also, people need to think if all woman doesn't work, than who would cater to woman's need? For example nurses or doctor. Who would a woman ask about illness specific to female? Male doctor? What about clothing? What about crime related to woman? No female police officer? Just what the heck with this mentality.

@@nobodyisborngayislam so a woman doesn’t want to be treated as a maid at home, that makes her a feminist? Do you know how miserable it is to clean up after 3 toddlers and another grown man child? I despise this argument because people who hide behind this thinking view women as objects that serve men only. If the Prophet Mohammad SAW used to wash his own clothes, make his own food, and raise his children, ( AND THIS WAS THE PROPHET WHO WAS BUSY SPREADING ISLAM) then so can any man. There is literally no excuse for a man to whine about cleaning after himself and raising the kids he impregnated his wife with. This is EXACTLY why Allah gave us so many rights; it’s to protect us women from men like this because unfortunately, we are under the mercy of our husband or our mahrams. As I type, I’m applying for a job so I can bring in my own money to fulfill my needs and wants bc my husband hasn’t been since we got married. Financial abuse is the number 1 reason couples get divorced, even in Islam.

I made a video (you can’t see it now because I deleted my channel) that was basically about how children act in the masjid, it was supposed to be a funny joke but someone took it to seriously and said “why are you going to the masjid when you’re a woman? The prophet (saw) said women should pray at home” and “you shouldn’t bring children to the mosque regardless because they’ll disturb people who are praying”. I told them as nicely as I could that Muhammad (saw) like children going to the mosque and said you should never ban women from going to the mosque. I usually go there because my father goes to the mosque and so do my siblings and my mother sometimes goes but usually she stays home because she’s cooking or taking care of our cats. She always encourages me to go because she always says that she wants me to get the full reward. They just got mad and kept saying that women SHOULD be ban from mosques because they belong at home. I tried to reason with them but they wouldn’t listen. And that was why I ended up deleting my channel because they were being disrespectful and tried to play “god”. It’s not up to us to say that women should stay home and not do anything, we still get the rewards of praying in the mosque regardless. May Allah forgive these people and help them see that Islam doesn’t say that women belong in the kitchen. I’m not a feminist but I know that women still have rights in Islam because it’s not like how others perceive it to be. May Allah guide us all and forgive our sins. Ameen.

this push for women working only benefits capitalism because it increases a country’s gdp, and this is the measuring stick for “success” today.
there is already plenty of work that needs to be done from maintaining the home, raising the children, fulfilling Allah’s rights, and the husband’s rights.
i dont see how there is this much free time that a woman would willingly go and work. unless of course sending your children to be raised and indoctrinated in public school then complaining to imams and sheikhs later on why your kids are no longer Muslim. children are an Amanah from Allah and it is the parent’s responsibility to raise them, not the state.
We know how we should raise our children from the Sunnah, Alhamdulillah. “Play with them for the first seven years (of their life); then teach them for the next seven years; then advise them for the next seven years (and after that).”
    *explicit warning*
Furthermore, because this feminist and capitalistic movement of everybody working, now the husband no longer has his Halal to come home to because she is tired or upset from work. this is a slippery slope that can, and does lead to corruption. like the husband now turning to pornography because his wife is not fulfilling what is fard on her i.e obeying her husband. now the husband is committing zina and the wife can be held accountable.
if a woman does what is fard on her: 5 daily prayers, fasting Ramadan, hajj and zakat, and obeys her husband and he is pleased with her, she can pick any door to Jannah. Allahu Akbar!
not to mention you dont need to wear hijab in your own home, and you can adorn yourself as much as you please for your husband.
Mother's are honored in Islam, not "business women". Mother's are what raises the future of this Ummah. Subhan'Allah, look at this responsibility and honor, and you want to forsake all that for what?.. six figure salary?
You can always go back to college, you can always start a business from home. There is, however, a time limit for women to have children. And what's better than increasing this Ummah's numbers?

She is never closer to Allaah than when she stays in her house.” Narrated by Ibn Hibbaan and Ibn Khuzaymah; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Shaheehah, no. 2688.
“And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance”
    [al-Ahzaab 33:33].
This ayah is addressed to the wives of the Prophet ‏صلى الله عليه وسلم but they are examples for the women believers.
And he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said concerning a woman’s prayer in the mosque: “Their houses are better for them.” Narrated by Abu Dawood (567) and classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.
The wife of Ibn Mas’ud ‏رضي الله عنه said to him “ will you not get me a jilbab?” In which his reply was “sufficient for you is the jilbab that Allah has covered you with your house” (ibn abi dunya islah al-mal pg. 70)
I expect people to respond to my comment “which refers the general norm/ruling in regards to this matter) with “what if this?” Or “what if that?” As I see often in these comments. The reality is for the women, that they are closest to Allah when they are in their homes as shaytan beautifies them as they leave the home. This is a false. Yes women can work, however it’s not the main responsibility as man are the financially responsible for the household. Women have the noble job of raising the kids which is more important as the women raises the next generation for the ummah. Many of the great scholars like Imam Bukhari, Imam Shafi and Imam Ahmad credit their mums as they developed them to becoming scholars.
As for the daughters of Madian, they had to work because the father is unable to, however when Moses alayhi Salam helped them, they advise their father to hire him to work.
Now we do we need female doctors, teachers etc however we shouldn’t make it a standard that women need to work.

    As Salaam alaikum
    Sir nouman
I have to tell you that, unfortunately no one will agree this statement of yours becoz people have fixed mindset that if women work nowadays she is going to be irreligious and commit zina and all
She can indulge in all bad stuff in a short time
    Allah hu Akbar
    It is also true
But one big truth is if any women knows who she is properly and what is her responsibility she will NEVER EVER indulge in such things and be the human she must be for sure
May Allah SWT bless us all always with good akhlaq so that we atleast try to understand what is the thing we must do as assigned to us
    Ameen

The basic principle is that a woman should remain at home, and not go out except for necessary purposes. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance”
    [al-Ahzaab 33:33].

That is not a valid argument lol since they were still many women who work in that era. So there is no restrictions in women making money.
