- Weekend VLOG #11 Join me OGDuffy on my weekend VLOG where I undertake Game Hunting, Arcade gaming, Playstation 3, Charity Shops and CEX all washed down with a few pints as normal 😉.
In this weeks VLOG I look for Retro games in my local charity shops and CEX and also a few pubs along the way.
I also play some great games from many retro systems including classic Arcade Games and a good sort out of the PS3 collection.
So if retro game collecting is your thing and you enjoying classic retro arcade games then this is the video for you.
Included this week… Game of the week and a new arcade game starting with….. ‘H’.

Great VLOG as always mate. Resistance Fall of Man was one of the games that made me want a PS3, and has the honour of being the only game to ever make me physically sick (was playing on a projector, while drinking coke and eating ice-cream). it's one of the best FPSs ever imho, and needs more recognition.

Yes, it does seem that games that i remember being kind of easy are More difficulty now. One example for me us, that i played ghost'n goblings recently on my commodore 64 and i just could not pass the final level, but when i used to play it +30 years ago, i remember easily going through the game multible times on a row 🤔 are we going to see commodore or amiga stuff from vlogs at some point? Used to love Resistance 1, the only game I played online. 1 hit shotguns in the Busyard or Manchester❤️
I think PS3 games look just as good as modern games to be honest.
Regarding the Switch that's the console I play virtually all the time these days. Pikmin 4 at the moment which is great.

Thought I had a good score in my local big Sally army earlier today. Minecraft xbox one edition a quid. It's 15 in cex and an easy 10 voucher. Deffo need topping those up after my big spend yesterday, lol. Annoyingly, the missus points out there's an issue with the disc. Some of the silver has been scraped away from the disc close ro where the hole is (so to speak) that means it may still play. But the odds of cex not noticing are slim. So it's more than likely going to be a keeper. I might buy a cheapo xbone for my son as he's Minecraft mad. But he already has a 360 and ps2 and wii and psp, oh and a 3ds. The git lol. On the subject of doubles cex will usually give you bugger all for most of them. I had the idea a while ago of trying your luck on fb marketplace. Not nessesarily to sell. But also as swapsies. Not many people do that. But you might get lucky and someone has a game they're willing to trade for one of yours. That way you get what you want. They get what they want and you both have a new game for the collection

Have to admit a few years ago enjoyed a spin out on Minecraft myself, such a clever program and very addictive.

How comes you choose to keep the price stickers on the covers? Soon as I get out the shop I peel em off :) Sort of ocd about having stickers on the cases ... Stickers on the manuals are the worst!

It's definitely not an age thing. I've noticed over time ps2/xbox games were harder than ps3/xbox 360 games. Now there even easier like COD for instance the ones on ps2 u had to find health the. On ps3/360 you can cover to regenerate health
Find health on ps1/ps2 games. On ps3/ps4 and maybe ps5 your health regenerates
I find PS3/360&Xbox games are easier than Sega/Nes&Snes
