I had stomach pain, no blood. Removed 1/8 of colon. Bags for 2 years. No bags now. Cancer free for 6 years now
Good luck,and God bless.
What did your pain feel like. Can you describe it?
@@kim24mayhow is the pain
God. Less you 🙏
Which stage?
This happened to my 38 year old sister.
Blood in stool for one year. Finally went in. Got a colonoscopy...came out of anesthesia and the Doctor said the exact same thing to her. "I've done this enough. I know what cancer looks like. "
Tears. Just like you.
She didn't care for the doctor and requested a different one for surgery to remove the mass.
He was wonderful.
Also. She DID NOT HAVE CANCER. She went ONE WHOLE WEEK THINKING SHE HAD CANCER.
She was just wanting to find out after the surgery if it had spread.
She didn't even have cancer.
She had PRE CANCEROUS CELLS IN THAT MASS.
She didn't have cancer tho.
Just unbelievable.
I was wondering if this was possible because I have a mass in rectum a large one biopsy show not malignant but the surgery will remove it and I'm hoping it isn't cancer. But they said it still could be won't know until it's out and completely tested. Praying surgery goes good and it heals me.
I wonder if you could perhaps put me in touch with your sister? Because something very similar happened to me (I’m pretty much her age, too). I went three weeks with a cancer diagnosis that turned out to be wrong. It’s such a unique experience and I’d love to talk to someone who experienced the same.
You are fantastic, brave, and I am so glad you decided to come out and say all those uncomfortable things. Do you realize how many lives you've saved? May God bless you.
I hope you stay cancer free.
Your sweet face & name will continue to be on my daily prayer list. May the good Lord watch over you always. Thank you so much for sharing and giving others so much to think about.
🙏❤️
Just love how when I’m listening to a random story and all of a sudden God is mentioned! 🥰
He waited long enough to let her know.😂
Really? I find it insufferable.
Me too!!
Gods sheep know his voice
its honestly absolutely shocking how many of these colon cancer stories start with "i was having blood in my stool for months/years and thought nothing of it / thought it was something else (like Hemorrhoids)."
its unbelievable that people dont know blood in the stool is a MASSIVE red flag that needs the eye of a doctor ASAP. Not sure where people get this idea from... if i ever had blood in my stool i'd rush off to a doctor the same day
very glad to hear you got the care you needed. THese videos are SO helpful to educate people of the signs. Good job & keep it up!
At this point, after watching so many videos of colon cancer patients and survivors, I think it's mainly a combination of massive denial and the need for everything to be fine because of all the obligations one may have. But mostly denial--because you can't fulfill your obligations if you' re not around to fulfill them, and that's a difficult reality to confront.
@@5Gburn totally agree
@@5Gburn totally agree that people are in denial. I clearly was in denial! There is sooo much to unpack about our how/why we are in denial.
Oh Jen…I’m 75 and had a positive colorguard and then last week got my FIRST colonoscopy last Tuesday..They found five polyps three small two larger…I’m scared BUT I know God has me…..just waiting for the results…God Bless you and EVERYONE dont be embarrassed get your colonoscopy…and YES God has to hit you over the head sometimes to wake you up…THANK a you for your testimony and ordeal
Oh wow! I'm so glad that you finally got the colonoscopy, even at 75yo. But now you can move forward with the right decisions to take care of your health. God bless!
God always has a plan... the struggle is getting on board with His plan. I hope you're doing well with wherever your cancer journey is taking you. God bless
I’m not spiritual but you make me feel like I am thank you for your story
You are loved by the Lord and thank you for explaining this journey..💐
Thank you for your story I have had bleeding for ten plus years I am 44 and have all the signs of cancer I have colonoscopy scheduled soon, my son is two and hlhs I pray that I make it through this!!!!
How are you?
Will be praying for you!
How are you now?
Reaching out... @Everettpace4687 how are you doing now??
How are you now
Oh honey. I tripped across your channel. You are so sweet. I’m sorry you are going through this right now. My son (29 years old) has had bloody diarrhea for years, and he goes in for colonoscopies every few years and they cannot find anything wrong with him. He’s lost 30 to 40 pounds over the years and blood work comes back normal - something’s going on and the doctors just can’t find it.
I live in a small town in PA, and our doctors always say they cannot find something. Then when the patient goes to a large city (i.e., Philadelphia), they find the problem. Not all hospitals, clinics, or doctors are created equal. Check with your insurance and find another doctor, who possibly has more experience or access to better testing. I truly hope everything turns out well for your son.
Hi Mary. Have you considered parasites? Eating RAW Pumpkin seeds (not roasted) & Daily RAW Garlic may make a difference. Your son needs a doctor to test for this...I hope this helps. God bless.
I totally agree with you. I had a similar experience although mine was a different situation but in the same general area and in the beginning yes it was a bit embarrassing but if I hadn’t expressed my concern when I did I’m sure it could have gotten way worse. I feel that it brought me closer to God and glad it did. I’m grateful he gave me the grace to go through this and come out closer to him.
I only wish more African American would look and listen to this video I had my colon test done I was good however I lost my best friend to this disease. Please people pay attention to your body.
My Dad as well does in 2018 of Colon Cancer. He never said anything until it’s was last stage.
Thank you for sharing your journey.
Praying for your continued healing.
Thank You Lord🙏🏻
Jennifer, thank you for being obedient to the Lord and for your openness. I’ve gone through the procedure three times and am due for another one. I’m 76 years old and have no major health issues, but have recently had changes in my bowl habits and yours was the link I clicked on. I’m a believer and love and trust the Lord with everything in me and hearing you talk about your relationships with Him means more than you know. Thank you and God bless you and keep you and make His beautiful face shine upon you and give you shalom.
Did u have
Your pooping in public made me chuckle. Me too. It has to be a true emergency for me to use a public restroom. Thank you for sharing your story it is very brave and hopefully it educates other people. I wish you well.
I. Would rather poop. In. My. Own toilet
So brave so unselfish to help others during your journey. Thank you and God bless you beautiful
God bless you Jen. So glad you finally got it looked at.
Thank you for this. You will help so many people. 🙏
Jennifer thank you. And the fact you are sharing your tesimony giving my hope.

You are so gracious. Thank you for sharing your journey w/us. You just brought someone closer to HIM, as well as the GP! Bless you dear.
I’m so sorry that you’re going through this. By sharing your story you will have helped many people. Thank you.
Donald J are you for real?????
Good info!! 👍
Thank You and God bless you!🙏🏼
I think it’s good your doctor didn’t dismiss your symptoms. Unfortunately this happens and delays diagnosis.
I’m 38 and jus recently started having that problem. My grandmother had colon cancer. I haven’t talked to my pcp yet. I’m hoping it’s jus internal hemorrhoids. Maybe God put this on my CZcams feed so I’ll feel more aware. I mean I’m a nurse but when it comes to your own health it doesn’t matter.. I’ll start praying on it. 🙏🏻
Enjoyed your honesty! I am having a colonscopy next month for symptoms I have been ignoring for years.
what is the finding on you?
Thanks for sharing your story with so much detail.
God bless you.
Merry XMas
Thanks for sharing. Prayers and well wishes your way.
God bless you. Thanks for sharing your story. I pray that you will heal and stay healthy.
I was waiting to hear you talk More about it, like your Journey Other than just being diagnosed.
You are so AWESOME! This is a great video and so helpful and encouraging the way you talked about talking to God. God bless you for a super great and long life!
I’m glad you got checked! Hope you’re all clear and are doing well 🙏🏻❤️
Thank you for sharing your experience. Overall I don't interact with my age group contemporaries who Id be able to discuss life-stage physical concerns with. So this candid discussion by you gave a great relevant vicariously sharing.
Thank you for sharing your story. My story is similar. Blood in the stool is never normal. I am glad you are doing well.
So proud of you.
Can't thank you enough ❤️
Thank you for sharing your story God bless you and keep you and yours safe n healthy , bless
You're welcome! Glad this was helpful for you.
GOD Bless you Sis,
Thank you SOOO MUCH for sharing.
You're welcome... It was a bit uncomfortable sharing, but then again with information comes the responsibility to DO something with that experience.
Thank you I have a lump in my neck and I will show my doc on next visit
Please do talk to your doc! Advocate for yourself!
GOD BLESS YOU!!!
Thank you for sharing your experience.
My pleasure! Glad this was helpful to you!
Thank you Jen, praying for you.

Are you ok now ?
I am diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis few months ago... ( Bloody stools for a year ) I am scared as hell because UC leedr to so many problems and Leeds to Colorectal cancer.
How are you doing......I am just waiting for a colonoscopy as they think I may have colitis....I just want to know.....x
A voice whisper in my head to do a mammogram.
And I hope you followed that whisper and went and got the mammogram... xo
Hey all info is helpful. And usually not hear about it unless we Google or videos.
I hope you stay cancer free. You seem like a nice lady.
4 years later and doing great thus far. Thank you for the kind words.
Amen sister
God is so good .
Is he? Lol
By giving her cancer? lol. Cool guy.
My sister was passing blood for a several years, and was too embarrassed to say anything. When she finally did it was too late.
Thanks for this, but over here in the UK we don't get put to sleep for a colonoscopy I had one, and never again, it was a barbaric experience.
New subscriber!
Amen!
I talk to my doctor about everything I make a list of complaint at every follow up ..like the pain in the bottom of both of my feet...and I get a referral to a therapist...I sure hope nothing wrong with me ,Because I wonder who they will be referred to when they hear from a lawyer
Thank you. I was peompted just as you were. My primary care physician in the UK ignored me and told me diarrhoea was normal for me. I had a faeces check and it came back normal yet, that orompting was still there. I am looking for ways fwd around this human issue of not being seen or heard.
Yes, keep advocating for yourself.
❤️
Nice video, thanks.
Thank you for sharing the honest truth that all the advertising never tells anyone. It maddens me that we constantly hear, catch cancer early for the best chance of treatment, and then no one tells us what the early signs are ? I wish every cancer patient would share this part of their story.
OMG Shirley here, I am 5he same way, I could never want to poop in a public restroom. I never had to poop thank good but if I did I can hold it until I got home.
lord not me. when it hits I have to go!
Can you explain what’s the next step after you find out they had cancer what did you do next
It can spread to liver and lungs, but can also spread to abdominal cavity and brain unfortunately. Time is of the essence.
You are just the other side of adorable !! That was just so informative and funny ..thank you , I think you will help so many people. James 14:14
Ohhh! I love that: "other side of adorable"! I will cherish that statement! Thanks for your support... and I am glad to be alive and be helpful to others.
So you had cancer for 10 years before it was found? Or what was the cause of the blood before the cancer? Wish you well
The Lord does speak to his children.
I worked with seniors with dementia. Poop talk was everything
Wat stage did they gave it
Did you change your diet or lifestyle?
Thank goodness the first colonoscopy guidelines was lowered to age 45. That will save a lot of lives. Get it done because a lot more younger people are getting colon cancer.
How is everything?
What is the deal with (my faith)
Amen! What stage were you.
Thank you for your support! I was staged at a 3B.
How are you doing now ?
Who doesn't tell their doctor about blood in their stool? That is total denial we are supposed to be our own best advocate.
Women beware. I had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy in Dec. 2023. Some polyps removed, orherwide nothing cancerous. In March, i was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian or peritoneal cancer.
Now having painful rectal symptoms.
beware of what exactly
What really makes me feel embarrassed is not her talking about poop and butt stuff but the thought that God has given her cancer so that she gets closer to him.
Not very kind.
Anyhow, the point is if there's blood in one's stool, don't wait for years before seeing a doctor! Make an appointment right away!
All good and perfect gifts are from God and comes down from the Father of lights, but unfortunately He gets blamed for what the devil does in our lives. May God open up your understanding to His Grace, mercy and absolute goodness. God is love. It’s the devil that comes to steal, kill and destroy us.
@@Judybhorne God should have destroyed the devil long before to protect us and all!!
If you will read the Bible and pray for understanding you will learn why and how God uses our adversities to help us spiritually. We as humans are very stubborn and think we are smarter than he is. If you want to understand him study what he has revealed about himself. All things work together for good to those who love and follow him. Arrogance and pride leads to our downfall.
I think it strange why people are so freaked out about their butt holes. I've had several colonoscopy and a few polyps takes out.
Get to the point! Damn!
We have to learn to talk about shit-bowl movements. People talk freely about eating which is the FIRST step to a BM. But they recoil when talking about BM's which is the LAST step of eating.
in other words, neither is worse to talk about than the other
You pretty
It is not this so called Lord , it is just common sense and react to your body when telling you something is wrong.
A god story , a bus load of children went over a cliff, a single child out of 37 children survived, 🤔 was god on vacation.🤯.
It’s a little too bad you had so much angst about using public facilities to go number two. I think sometimes parental figures can traumatize their children over this particular bodily function. Then their coping mechanism causes unforeseen repercussions.
Losing 30-40 pounds couldn't hurt.
Forget embarrassment
you might have died
It might be helpful to take a picture of your bowel movements. Then give it to the doctor.
You lost me as a Christian when you said “sometimes we have big health events in our lives because God wants us to get closer to Him.” (Paraphrased) 1 Peter 2:24 “ we have been healed and made whole by the stripes of Jesus.” God does not need to make us sick to get closer to Him. As Christian’s we should be doing this seeking a personal relationship with Him way before you get sick . God does not allow sickness doling cancer out like tickets to a movie. We live on an earth that man has done bad things too including tampering with foods we eat that affect even vegans. Things happen but Jesus always heals. I pray you are healed and whole. Don’t wait until you are sick to arrive for a deeper relationship with our maker. 🙏
10:21 _”… because God is aware of you. He wants you to come close to Him. And I think sometimes these major medical maladies that happen in our lives are an opportunity to come closer to the Lord.”_
No offense, but this can be some very problematic thinking.
Why couldn’t the Lord have let you know about this ailment 10 years earlier? Or maybe to put it another way. The Lord was trying to reach you on the phone for TEN years and you wouldn’t pick up the phone?
The other problem with this thinking is that God has to bring you to a maximum level of suffering before you’ll come to Him. That’s essentially an abusive relationship. Instead of just showing you that He cares, he has to let you come face to face with death before you’ll appreciate His existence (or what have you). Again, this describes a narcissistic personality to a tee.
Glad you finally got the medical attention you needed though.
