Recorded on a Fostex 8 track - Drums first, Organ, Bass, Bongos and tamborine, clarinet, backing vocals and then played on piano live with live vocal. 4 hours!
well mister this cover is one of the best iv seen, yes! this song means a lot to me, im not the best beatles-fan or mccartney fan but i have a really great memory of a night with this song, it took me a year to find it from a crappy recording on my mobilephone, and now when I finally got it i can look back at that perfect emotional night and it feeeels just great!! so Thanks for this stuff u got man. this is great, great, great !!
Thanks very much - one of my faves too. Looked at your stuff - reaally cool 'Tough on a Tightrope' You need to get out there and do some gigs. You Good man!
Thanks a lot. Yep- I played all the instruments did the drums on my Clavinova and played organ and synth strings on a Yamaha PSR 6800. Bass is a Westone Thunder. Vocal was a bit tough!
duuude!! that was great i can tell you're having a lot of fun with this little paul piece. I love this song too, just one question for you; how did you learn to play the keyboard??
Hi guys. I played all the instruments myself and recorded them individually on an 8 track recorder. I play by ear so basically I can usually play most things if I know it well enough. I have been listening to thgis song since 1975 so......
Well... of course he is... but that doesn't mean you can't be a musical genius too ;) I'm amazed that you are self taught on all of those instruments and it sounds fantastic to me. I think you are modest. :-)
Really appreciate all the positive comments guys and girls. Thanks. I'm not a musical genius - Macca's the man - I just do my own version of a great song. It's a bit like copying a painting by a famous artist- only my bruss strokes are not as well defined!!
I know- sorry but the way my electric sockets are placed in that room only allow that set-up. I am playing through a PA system which you can't see and the camera is on a tripod. You cant see that either. However I am playing piano and singing live.
Thanks for the positive comments guys. I only do it for fun and its nice to share stuff with you.... even if it it is a bit conceited!!!
