Holy cow! That Keith Emerson piece you played was just incredible. That has nothing to do with the keyboard, that’s all player skills.
Beer and Hammonds, a great combination. Now, spill half a beer into the organ so that I can compare how that digital-hops sound compares with my tonewheel-hops sound. 😄
Again. Best demo - because the image of the video is fresh, young and not so old school like the others. Perfect playing the styes. Rock organ - wow . Thats it. Hope my SK comes next week

Both the sound and your playing are amazing. Love the Jon Lord and Keith Emerson bits. It's great to have a rock organ NOT with those ridiculous levels of drive/distortion we usually find in most stage keyboards. They really got close to the Jon Lord sound.

I don't know if this is just an issue with mine but for some reason the overdrive effect doesn't work unless i access one of the pre set patches includes it. My firmware is up to date so i wonder if need to do a factory reset or what.
@@creightonmoench6894 I'm responding a year later to your post (2023-05-16), have you since solved the problem? You have to go into the overdrive menu and turn it up for the patches that weren't pre-programmed with it. I believe it sits at 0 or 20, and you have to turn it up from there to desired taste. If you've already got it, then disregard my reply.
Thanks but yeah i did figure that out. Kinda frustrating that there isn't a dedicated knob for that on the 61 or 73 though they did add that on the skx pro and the upcoming xk4.

Very good, but would be better with a real Leslie. Organ is perfect. Leslie effect is good to work AT home with a headphone. On stage, nothing is better than a Leslie cabinet 122, 147, 760.
Thanks for the impressive demo! I've been wondering, though, does Sk PRO have a preset or built-in The Doors' VOX Continental organ sound as well?
I think it does. It certainly has the Vox Continental sound (also Farfisa Compact, pipe organs, and now has an Acetone model, again has the Rhodes sounds …Rhodes bass is essentially just a Rhodes piano but played low …I haven’t seen the Vox Jaguar organ in the SK Pro …it was “downloadable” for the SK-series IIRC).

How good is the keybed, looks good the way you play it; how does it compare with sk5
XK5 has better keybed and it has 5 sensors and the organ sounds are even more awesome…🎹🤘🏻

Nice chops great patches except I'm not a fan of overdrive, you might as well play guitar power cords no need for minor or major 3rd 7th or any of the extensions, they are obliterated by distortion, okay if you're a deep purple fan or metal fan you might want OD
I received it and was bitterly disappointed in the sounds.!!!The Acoustic pianos didn't sound nearly as true as my SK-1 and there were only two or 3 Electric pianos that sounded good. The organ didn't have the throatiness that my SK1 or SKX has. I sent it back. What a major disappointment!
Oh. That's a pity, then only clavia nord electro remains for you. I am going ro check out the Nord Piano 5 soon.
I was surprised how artificial and unpleasant the acoustic pianos sound. They should provide a library update.
I'm not totally sure, but I don't remember, since I started playing live at "Joes Bar and Grill" a chick that I was looking to pick, saying to me, " I'd love to go back to your place, but that piano sound you used really SUCKED!!"
