I own a auto shop in PA. I can say for sure this "emissions crap" doesnt to shit to reduce emissions. It laterally just breaks down the "soot" into smaller particles so soccer moms in Youkons cant see the black. It saves it up and "burns" in "regen" The amount of money that is wasted is just unbelievable. Next time your traveling look at the truck stops. Garbage cans overflowing with plastic jugs in cardboard boxes with "def" printed on them. Its all waste. They talk about efficiency and all that shit but its all nonsense. my neighbor has been told to get newer equipment to become more effecient he laughs at people. people have asked him what if your forced to go to DEF fluid he said well i guess i will shut down and leave the land sit idle. he farms with a 4230 a 4030 2-4020's and a 3020 a 3010 and he always has great crops. my neighbors just picked on me at a meeting cause i rebuilt my 4010 and a farmall 806 and they said WHY?? i said cause i KNOW what i got why wouldnt i completely rebuild it? then i KNOW what i have. case in point my neighbor traded off 2 tractors after he picked on me to get a newer 1. since then it has been in the shop for a knock in the motor then the turbo went out then some sensor went out NOW he has hydraulic issues. he says now he wished he would of kept his 4430 and 3020
Better off to buy older diesel rebuild the engine and get away from the crap. Newer doesn't mean better, just more to fail. All the computers to do the work until they don't work and neither do you.
I believe the emissions on this newer equipment is worse than the pre emission engines. I have an 09’ Frieghtliner with a Detroit . It goes into regin and burns lots of diesel for 20-30 minutes, runs hot while doing it to burn the soot out of the particulate filter to blow it out in the atmosphere. Does this make any sense at all?

Throws a code. If I take it to Ford. Over a hundred dollars or more. More now. My dealership is now over 3 hours away. Take care.
yeah if you have to get deere out! around here its $155.00 a hour labor charge. my neighbor was argueing with deere 1 day i was in there. and the dealer said we have to raise our prices to cover our cost increases and to make money. the neighbor thru a bill and a milk check on the counter and showed the dealer you charged me $74.00 a hour to rebuild this motor NOR your $155.00 a hour and here is my milk check from this month. almost the same as when you were $74.00 a hour. the dealer never said a word and walked away

Could’ve deleted and tuned the tractor for 3k think I would’ve went that route. Rather than putting it back on.
