Someone or everyone in No Cash is an extremely talented composer. The piano parts are beautiful and go along with the heaviness of the songs so well.
No Cash put out one my favorite punk albums of all time, so it was nice to hear Devlin talk about the band. I understand where he is coming from too, because as much as I love that album, often I have to seperate myself a little bit from the lyrical content, just a bit.
One of my favorites is "Clear the chamber" i love their crappy immensely talented CBGB album.
First time coming across this channel, love no cash i even put em on my crack rock steady playlist video!! Can't wait to see more vids!!!

Hey buddy. Your work is epic! This interview really hit home when you guys discussed how things go south with bands. I'm glad you and I got to experience being a bit more connected than any of the people we played with. Those are memories I will take to the grave, bro. @@billybobweible ya. Seriously best in the genre and don't know ANYTHING about them. My dad used to call my music "kill yer mom music" so one day I heard No Cash and did a cover of kill your parents hahahaha. He laughed
Dude. I'm not done listening to this interview but fuck me, I know what he means when it comes to lyrical content. Mind you I'm still pretty against many things I was as a kid. But my music is influenced by these guys a bit. Not to the extent it was because I also grew up. But, I still see wrongness (if you will) in everything around me. Imagine No Cash with Facebook in their crossfire. That would be amazing maaaan. Lol

I want more man. Like why did they write Life Sucks. Actually I wanna know the thought behind every song....is it cool if I get the contact info? I mean, if he's into it I'd love to hear waaaay more. This was amazing, but I have so many questions man. Maybe he's not into answering them but damn. It's such a great band....so tight as a unit. I need to know lol

@@billybobweible I would like to know how serious their intent was lyrically. I would like to know what their relationship was with Stza and the Crack Rock guys. I would like to know if he still has some of the same ideas aside from him saying that their lyrics were angry. Also, adding to that, I read an interview years ago where he spoke about making the second No Cash album (that never came to be) and he said the lyrics on that one wouldn't be so negative....did he actually get to writing that album before they broke up? Is he ever planning on doing any punk again? What are the rest of the guys up to? Does he have any pictures of shows back then? It seems like they, in a way, never did much publicity photos and they never had any pictures in the liner notes on RYP. Was that intentional? Does he have a good relationship with his family? I only ask that because Kill Your Parents is a song. Were they ever squatter punks or was that just part of the template they borrowed from LoC? Those are just off the top of the dome. I'm sure I could think up a million more. Lol. Thanks for asking for my input. I am very interested in hearing more. Seems like a cool dude.

@@billybobweible i wish i could get one. The henchmen are probably my favorite punk band of all time. Just criminally underrated and nobody (at least here on CZcams) talks about them. It's insane how they get no notoriety based on how just amazing their songs are.
