- Elvis and Khaleesi have obviously seen “The Thing” before. That’s why every time this scene comes on they do everything they can to warn the canine actors of impending doom.
Love how one of the dogs needed to relieve his anxiety by going to get a tennis ball 😆
He went for a cold one and a smoke .
Left the room hahaha 😂💯🐕the poor babies
He saw the monster and was out the door
I read this comment as he did it lol
I was gonna say that!
The other one was like, "fuck this, I'm getting my ball" 😂

lol, he said, I'm too old for this..lol
His stress ball lol.
I brought my dog to the movies and he sat there and watched the whole thing like a good boy.
At the end, The people behind us said “that’s amazing. He really seemed to like the movie”
I turned around to them and said “ I know right, it’s pretty incredible, because he hated the book!”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good one🤣

Stop bringing your freaking dogs to the movie.

This is a testimony to how effective the suspense was on the 1982 version of The Thing. Even the dogs were spooked.
I knew it was The Thing with Kurt Russell!!!!!!!
@@catalinegreanu amazing film.
It's irresponsible to let their dogs watch this. Dogs are like children, let them watch kids movies, not something that scare them or give them anxiety. They don't know that it's not real. People need to understand that dogs can get anxiety and depression, and get affected by trauma, just like humans.

And after I got confused with The call of the wild.... until that damn THING showed up ahaha

It's funny but you're so right, maybe it's too much for them to process too much horror
Heck even humans aren't usually able to explain why thing that hurts us can't still attract us
Ps : I love how the front row is checking for some emotional support from his big buddy....!
Or..... maybe he's checking if he's not turning into a monster XD

Look up dogs reaction to the lion king.
Seriously? I trained my dogs to bark at the tv in about 30 minutes...it's a trick. Easy to do and worth 5 million views. Get a clue dude.

Another Stupid Dog Trick...
Notice how the one closest to the TV looks back at the other dog like “do you see this”?!😂
Yep! I noticed that too!
in the dogs mind its real , it had no idea movies have special effects
And he licks his mouth as he turns around. Dog sign of nervousness.
I have watched several videos this morning of dogs reacting to things they see on a television. It is too funny how they do. This reminded me of a parakeet my sister had when we were kids. The original Star Trek series was a favorite show of ours, including the bird. He never bothered watching anything except when we were watching Star Trek and he was on his perch never taking his eyes off the television. When fight scenes came on, which typically had Kirk fighting some bad guy that bird would go wild. He usually sat on his perch flapping his wings wildly all the while squawking and shrieking like he was cheering on Kirk. However, when Kirk was fighting a Klingon that bird was really freaking out, flying all around his cage while squawking and shrieking. The only other time he would make any sound during the show was when Klingons were on the screen. He really hated Klingons.
Until Worf, who didn't. Lol

That is so funny - thanks for sharing - I’ve never had any dogs who were interested in tv at all so it’s really funny to see some who are really into it ! LOL
@Captain Ho Slappin Awww…. That is a sweet story - are your Mom & dog still with us ? My mom passed 4 years ago and my precious Chocolate Lab, Abby, 2 years ago - miss them so much -
@Captain Ho Slappin I’m sorry to hear about your mom - long term illness like that is so hard on both the patient & the caregiver - my mom lived with me her last two years but we were fortunate enough that she had long term insurance, so we were able to get some help - Blessings to you 🙏

Hahaha, that big one leaves the room, "I can't watch this again...", deciding to go play with his ball, but then is compelled to come back and keep watching, dropping his ball.
And the other one looks back at the big one as if to say "Are you seeing this? Can you believe they NEVER learn?"
LOL... this was awesome.
😃😃😃😃
"How many times do we have to tell you to STOP GOING IN THERE until you finally do it?!?!" 😂

I agree, The Thing is one of the best horror movies ever made.
Yes, it is terrifying.
The dog must have got addicted to the magic screen and forgot its duties as being a guard dog in the REAL world
That poor thing. :(
I didn't find it terrifying. I found ot entertaining.
That was a horrible scene, I could never finish watching The Thing because that scene was so horrifying especially to a 5 year old like I was when this movie came out. I'm STILL traumatized. 🤣🤣
At 1:51 the scared dog in the back is like: "I'm gonna go get my therapy ball so I can deal with this mess"!

If they are older than 2, yes
It's amazing how they care for each other
I knew that scene from the thumbnail. One of my all time favorites. Super cute that your pupper was trying so hard to warn his fellow puppers. Love it.
Is no one going to comment on how well this scene is structured that even dogs feel the impending danger, after multiple viewings. Sweet doggies btw.
Hell yeah. Now I don't know if the dogs realise that what they see is fake, but the acting (both humans' and the dogs') is so good and the atmosphere is so well established that they feel the tension, the danger. They know something is off.
@@davidsolomie162
Well, also there must be something rather disconcertingly alien about Jed since he's a wolfdog, so his body language both is and is not that of a dog.

There’s nothing in this world cuter than an English bulldog. They’re adorable clowns. And very smart. ❤️
Their personalities may be cute but their bodies are extremely deformed, as are many other breeds. They have horrible health problems that are directly based on their bodies and deformities. They are one of many breeds that should no longer be bred. Breeding an animal on purpose into a deformed and painful body is animal cruelty in its most commonly accepted form. You wouldn’t want to see a dogs face bashed in because of the initial pain the dog would experience but also because of the lifelong health consequences that kind of injury would sustain. Brachiocephalic breeds are bred on purpose to have a smooshed in face which leads to breathing issues, temperature control issues, skin infections, and other health problems. Not to mention the stature and way they hold their legs and how short their legs are. You should look up Kenny the white tiger. Look at his face in comparison with a healthy tiger’s face. Then look at an English Bulldog’s face and you’ll see them in a whole new light. I feel extremely sorry for them to be trapped in those bodies from birth.
I bet these two are good at finding the remote control.
A suitcase full of 💰 is way more cuter than a bulldog or any dog🐕lol🤣 .
@@craigalston2208 the suitcase might be more useful to you. It is not cuter than even the ugliest bulldog. They are the best dogs in my opinion.

I'm just cracking up at fact that they are watching tv....
😂😝
Lol! I thought my dogs were in the minority, because they couldn't care less what's on the screen. Sometimes a sound will get their attention, but they seem totally uninterested in watching TV.
I had one once (RIP Dusty) that only cared if there was a baby crying in the scene. When that happened she'd run from where ever she was, sit in front of the screen and whimper.
When owners at work, they really get into watching Soap Operas. "Like sand through an hour glass, so are the Dogs of Our Lives".
I know 😂
Years ago they used to tell us that dogs couldn't see what was going on on a tv screen, and I believed them. Eventually I witnessed things that convinced me they could beyond doubt. Now I find they're actually following the plot.
Dogs know evil. Animals know evil.
And this movie is one of the all time greats in evil.
Good dog. Good dog.
unfortunatley with "the thing", not only can it copy a host but also its scent, thats why the dogs only started barking after the thing was revealing itself.
I think "the thing" was just trying to survive, doesn't make it any more safe though.
Is that the name of this movie?
The Thing?
Exactly why is just trying to survive, evil? The only 'evil' I see here is prejudice.
@@inthelandofmorethansmall7582 Yes, the Name of the movie is "The Thing". There is also another "The Thing" movie. It's more recent and a prequel to the original movie. They are both very good movies.
