As a proud Yankees fan I can say I’ve never feared anyone stepping into box more than Big Papi...a legendary player and from everything I see an even greater guy off the field.
Hitting a homer off the best closer of all time in Rivera to avoid elimination then en route to an 8 game streak to a World Series championship is somethin from another planet.
Even as a Red sox fan, I find these videos helpful and interesting, and very entertaining. Big respect to you Alex for doing these things off the field, helping us younger baseball fans learn some great stuff

Bauer and Cole were the ones in the spotlight because they were the ones putting up the best numbers from this.

Love David Ortiz he is a very humble person. I remembered him at the parade of starts here in SF and I was with my boys waving to the players and he gave my boys a set of Dice 🎲 and rally towels, make my boys so happy. Very kind man. God bless him

As a born and raised Astros fan. Ive never really been a Arod guy. But ill tell u what over the last maybe 5 years or so. Ive become a fan. Big Poppy what a fucking stud. There are a few players I would never want batting against my stros poppy is one. But man what a good guy. Good for his teams on and off the field. In his committee and his country. This is the best channel I’ve ran across in a while. Wasn’t a huge fan of Arod during his playing days as a Tigers fan, but he is one of the best baseball minds out there. Also, he’s a tremendous commentator on Sunday Night Baseball. Could listen to him talk all day, and seems like a solid dude. Wish this man nothing but continued success. SN, papi, you broke my heart in the 2013 ALCS, but appreciate what you have done for the game of baseball.

Sitting here watching this makes me so happy. I know I am late to watch this but damn, I am 27 years old and watching you become a yankee and see this rivalry was some of the best moments of my life. I am a yankee fan through and through but my eyes do not stray away from greatness. Papi made me smile with his incredible swings although I was rooting for the other side. Seeing the two of you together and watching 2 of the best to ever walk on a diamond is incredible. Thank you for the opportunity.

still have an A-rod poster from an M's game in 1996 for the all star game. Hasn't moved from my parent's wall in 25 years. I remember a time growing up in Seattle when A-rod was more popular than Griffey. Every kid in little league wanted to wear either #3 or #24 lol.

Papi commenting on Kevin Millar being his favorite teammate is a nice call out, a young Millar was a replacement player in during the 1994-95 Major League Baseball strike, when he played with the replacements in the spring of 1995 and therefore, was barred from membership in the players union. Millar is a world champion and a baseball lifer. I’m in, subscribed.
