And tbf. I don't believe that its the trans or gay community that's behind all of it. Just like the radical racial stuff isn't from the average black or brown person.
The vast majority of all of it is Media,college and marketing. The world wasn't perfect before, but we didn't have these issues on this scale until social media ( not when social media became popular, but specifically when social media switched from being something teens use to when it became the official platform for news and politics. ) That's exactly when things got wacky
I think that many of the people that support and champion issues for a fringe part of our population genuinely believe it. They don't do it out of fear. I think it mostly starts in college and think tank institutions, where there aren't immediate consequences towards believing those things. It's the opposite for them, in the near term, they have social and political gains if they do.
Like I genuinely support minorities of many kinds, but I know better than to go far out of my way to support those causes because I live in the normal world, run by market forces and open markets (unlike universities and think tanks) -- I know that since I'm going out of my way to do it, it won't hold up on its own. The question then becomes, do I want to support those causes indefinitely? My answer is that I can't afford to. The only people that can say yes to that are big fortune 500 C level types, well established financiers and other people with lots of power and/or resources, which a lot of them do.
Problem is that those people are out of touch with most of the people they're trying to champion, lol and they end up getting convinced into committing to sketchy, money grab, borderline con type programs and initiatives that sound good, but don't help anyone at large than the sketchy organizers that run them.
It's not the fringe minority, it's the political half of the country that are willing to shout you down and try to destroy your social life and career over a fringe minority. The key is getting the left to wake up to the point that this is an insane hill to die on, because there are vast numbers of them who think this is absurd and just play along.

I’m an engineering student that wants to design rides and roller coasters for the theme park industry and eventually be a business executive within that industry. I 100% agree on what she’s saying here about the culture of fear inside Disney with their woke crap. I pray that Nelson Peltz gets his wishes next year for a board seat cause it is the only way Disney can right the ship and this is the American fight for my career big time.

“Disney programming” has taken on a completely different meaning in the last 10 years.
I really like Sage, and truly appreciate what she's been doing. But I think she still has some ideas that haven't quite clicked in. She doesn't see how a woman actually has MORE power in modern media to buck the status quo, as men are called sexist, patriarchy, toxic, etc. In the modern media landscape, the more minority status you have, the easier it is to speak up, ironically.

I used to get stuck watching my brother's kids. They didn't watch Disney. We took the dog for walks and talked. We got involved in making lunch and dinner. Doing chores and making it fun. Very simple, but enduring, endearing, lessons. Disney doesn't teach that to kids. They have become the antithesis of proper morals and/or values. 'Death to Smoochy'
