RC Cars impress me even more than these do. Granted, these slot cars are a hell of a lot better than they were 40 years ago when I had them growing up, but RCs are no joke these days compared to then. Hell, 40 years ago, you thought you were the shit to have an RC that did 30 mph. Now it's hard to find a ready to run RC that goes slower than 60 mph. I've got close to $2k tied up in a build, and it should be capable of doing around 160 mph with the current esc/motor ( Castle Creations MMX8S esc and the 1721 2400kv motor) combo. could get it even faster if I was to use an XLX2 esc instead of my MMX8S esc, but it's already one of the most uncontrollable Traxxas 2wd Slash builds out there. Lmfao. What really sucks is I can go through a pair of rear tires in a single bashing session on one 6s battery charge. It's fun as hell, though, and it's always cool as hell to see a 1/10 scale RC car literally smoking the tires.

Man the memories of setting one of these up, I remember when they came with only 2 cars and one was always waaaay faster than the other it was the red car for me. That lil demon would never stay on the track in those corners and would launch in random directions, mom hated when I played with them 😂
