Do They Know It? #145 - DO COLLEGE KIDS KNOW 70s MUSIC? #5 (REACT: Do They Know It?) - ZĂĄbava
Girl: Iâm gunna get all of these!!
Same girl every damn time: Is this The Bee Gees??
To play Eclipse without Brain Damage... that's sacrilege
to play it without the rest of the album is like buying a hot dog just to lick the bread
remember albums?
To play Brain Damage without Any Colour You Like...
@@gsas don't cry
I love that line: "By the time a Pink Floyd song is over, I'm like, "What year is it?'"
Every Pink Floyd song is like watch Inception 10 times in a row. Iâm just like. What? Is anything real? Am I real? I donât know.
Someone needs to get that girl into comedy. Sheâs hysterical in all of these.
That....is the reason I listen to Pink Floyd.
Dale Cooper like that
"Everytime a Pink Floyd song ends I'm like what year is it?"
Exactly. That's 'cause they're timeless. :p
"Every Pink Floyd song is like watching 'Inception' ten times in a row". Great description.
Adam is, like, one of the best sport about the _Do You Know It?_ segments. He's really excited when he knows it, and he curiously optimistic when he doesn't
I love how Pink Floyd have them all a little mind blown
how can you not know Eric Clapton?
I know, right?
I knoooowww
I remember listing to eric clapton in April 2018 before this
SO FREAKING SAD đ
I actually drew in a breath!!!
PUT ADAM IN EVERY DO THEY KNOW: MUSIC AND GUESS THAT SONG EPISODES. His music's knowledge is so daaaaamnn good.
You guys gotta get more Led Zeppelin Clapton and Hendrix in these.
yes, jeez , thank you
Also Styx and Chicago
Wasn't Hendrix 60's?
Hendrix is more 60s i guess
Hendrix was a dead body in the 70s
"I think this is a one hit wonder"
It's KC and the Sunshine Band lol
KC is a soundtrack in Forrest Gump, when Jenny decides to killmherself by jumping from the 3rd floor of a building
Now if she would have said they have at least 30 hits Then she would be closer ,,
Morgan accurately describing Pink Floyd. Like entering a different dimension
Eric looks like he's in a 70s disco or something
Either Saturday Night Fever or a weirder Version of a Tarantino Film
"Eric Clapton? -- I've never heard of him." I weep for this generation.
When you get to the point that everything only knows a song because of JoJo Rabbit or the umpteenth cover, it brings up a huge sigh from my I-was-a-teen-in-the-70s heart.
Same w/Eric on Kansas...I only know this coz of Supernatural!-WTH...I pray for this generation
Pink Floyd is eternal
Amen to that.
Forever and ever...
Eric!!! Supernatural is where I went first too at Kansas!
CARRY ON MY WARD SON!! my little supernatural stan started screaming the lyrics. Now I relate to Eric much more
My mind literally went to Supernatural too. I remember when it first played on the episode and I couldn't stop replaying till I knew the entire chorus word for word
âBoogie Shoesâ is not a one hit wonder. Not even close đ
some stevie nicks or fleetwood mac would be magical
Tia Donnelly OMG IKR
I Agree to Eric with Kansas. The First thing i thought about was Supernatural đ. Greetings from Germany
Please can we just have a whole video of college kids reacting to Pink Floyd. It was done with the elders but I really think it would be interesting to hear what a younger generation would take from it as they are at different stages in life but will still relate to parts of it.
definitely
KC and the Sunshine Bandâs Boogie Shoes is a âone hit wonderâ? đđđđ
Please, please do na interview or reaction to whatever with Adam's parentes.
The dude is way cooler for his age, and his parentes must be legendary people to raise a boy like that.
When Carry on Wayward Son came in I instantly thought of Supernatural
Eric cracked me up when Carry On Wayward Son started playing relating it to Supernatural! LOL! I feel ya Eric! I love that show too!
Carry On Wayward Son is a great song. And Iâm glad Iâm the only one that instantly thinks of Supernatural when I hear it haha.
My Aunt was a back up vocalist for KC and sunshine band!
She must have some boogie shoes
See, I knew I liked Eric for a reason! Identifies Kansas from Supernatural!
70's music without led Zeppelin and black sabbath!!! WTF
they had them in another episode of this
More than anything else, I'm just really sad that so few people got Eclipse :((
Morgan's reaction is on point though!
i too love supernatural and thats the first place my mind went to too
Love Morgan's reaction to Pink Floyd..."it's like watching Inception 10x". ha ha
So sad Pink Floyd is lost on this generation.
@@mcstacia There is still hope! Me and my friends love Pink Floyd!
I was born in 2003. Been a Pink Floyd fan since I was a kid. Got my own vinyl of Dark Side of the Moon and everything. We arenât completely lost.
I love Pink Floyd, but I didn't know this one đ
â@@BrianJames0964quack I'm a 2003 too! I didn't know the band very well until I fixed a turntable found in a scrap pile, and put my dad's old records on it. I listened to DSOTM and The Wall, the only PF albums he had, then bought myself Wish you were here. Next I listened to Animals, Meddle and Obscured by Clouds on Spotify (even though I love the sound on vinyl records) and now I just can't play one of their song without listening to the entire album.
They bring in shitty ppl, Pink Floyd still going strong boi
Being a music nerd, I am familiar with lots of stuff from the 1960s onwards. From Bob Dylan to Coldplay. No need to confine yourself to one specific era.
Same. I like a lot of fifties stuff too. We are living in the era when music from years gone past is so accessible - it wasnât like this when I was a kid but thankfully my parents and older siblings had a pretty good record collection.
Oh my gosh.... the 70's were so much fun! I am so sorry you all missed them!
70s and 80s are the best!!!
If you remember the '70s, you weren't there.
âThe 70âs, thatâs even further back than the 80âsâ wow, genius alert! đš đšđšđš
ââŠa one hit wonder â âŠreferring to KC And The Sunshine Band, haha!
And American Pie is about WAAAAAY more than just that specific tragedy!
American Pie is 8 minutes long, it's a whole encyclopedia.
Okay Erik is officially my favorite because as soon as Carry On (Wayward Son) came on he automatically thought of Supernatural
Carry on Wayward Son starts playing... Eric immediately gets a Supernatural clip show playing through his head and cheers for it... Same buddy, same.
#SPNFamily we are everywhere
7:17 Eric that is exactly where my mind went to!!! It just makes me love you even more!!!
More Pink Floyd please
ERIC!!!! It is totally ABSOLUTELY and COMPLETELY okay that you went right to supernatural. THE BEST
Michelle Dykeman YES!!
I'm a simple girl, I see Pink Floyd and I clickđ
Makes sense! They are the most creative, technical, expressive....... (add epithets on the dotted line :P ) band ever!
Same here
OMG I Iove you
Eric likes Buffy and now Supernatural too?! YES! My faith in the youths is restored.
I love how you can pick SPN fans from a crowd just by playing "Carry On my Wayward Son" :)
1:45 "Eric Clapton? I never heard of him!"
HOW? HOW CAN YOU NOT HEAR ABOUT THE SLOWHAND I'M DONE
How can anybody not heard of him
Damn, Paris pulled Eclipse out of nowhere. That was impressive. Even I struggled for the name before I realized that was the end of the album and I've been listening to it since I was born thanks to my dad.
So glad you included American Pie, such a good song!
American Pie was the the original Bohemian Rhapsody in the sense that whenever it came on the radio, everyone stopped what they were doing and sang along.
Joe User both of those are 2 of my favorite and Iâm only 13 oof
Cooper Dellane
why do we need the information that youâre 13?
So excited you guys did Carry o
On My Wayward Son! I love Supernatural!
KANSAS CARRY ON MY WAYWARD SON MADE ME SO HAPPY
I'm an SPN Stan
Kansas! I love Supernatural also! I'm ready for season 14!!
Katrina Burrell oh heck yes bring on supernatural season 14. Only reason why i know the song.
I'm with you Eric. Unofficial Supernatural theme carry on my wayward son.
Oh, come on! You must do Teens or college kids react to Pink Floyd!
I airbrushed me a shirt with a big eclipsed sun on the front with "ECLIPSE 2017" and the Pink Floyd prism right in the middle of the moon, and on the back were the lyrics "everything under the sun is in tune - BUT the sun is eclipsed by the moon" and wore it to the total eclipse last August and had a ton of comments on it.
That is totally awesome! You are so cool!!
We all love Adam in these videos. Stay with him, don't let his precious music knowledge go away. Must protect.
I agree with Eric Iâm glad Iâm not the only one who knows wayword son from supernatural
I only know it from GTA. Never watched Supernatural. Sorry
Al Green is a classic
Lets stay together Al Green is CLASSIC!
I love "Carry On My Wayward Son" by Kansas. Where are all the Supernatural Fans at?
Eric Beckerman I love you ! that is the exact same rection I have when I hear "Carry on Wayward Son" by Kansas
Carry On My Wayward Son came out the year I was born. I've always liked the band Kansas. Dust in the Wind has had a special place in my heart since I was a kid.
If I had to pick a song for my funeral, I can't think of a better one right now than Dust In The Wind.
When ever Carry On My Wayward Son comes on my dad and me scream/sing it!
#SPNFamily is always here whether you want us or not. Can't believe this was a 70s song tbh but i never get sick of it.
When they started playing American Pie, my mind thought it was "The Saga Begins", and I was like "What's Weird Al doing here?"
I love that Eric knew and referenced Supernatural and although he didn't name them, Buddy Holly/Big Bopper/Ritchie Valens. Great job Eric!
every time I heard Carry on My Wayward Son... I feel like I need to go watch an episode or 12 of supernatural.
Iâve always loved the curly haired guy but I have a newfound respect because he also loves supernatural
Sophia Danielle, his name is Eric.
7:19 , Eric is one of us? ERIC IS ONE OF US!!
Morgan summed up Pink Floyd perfectly. this is why they are such an amazing, iconic band honestly.
Iâm 15 and I listen to 70s all the time. I grew up with that music in my household. Especially AL GREEN!
Lmao Eric looks like he came right from the 70'sđđđ
YES! KANSAS! SPN fam
Geneva: "Honestly, I am so good at this. I feel like I am going to get all of these songs."
Proceeds to get none of them...
my favroit 70's song is don't fear the reeper by blue oyster cult
Matt Ward needs moar cowbell
"This song is the song that's always in cheesy rom coms". It's in Pulp Fiction.
2:12 All you had to say was "it's so interesting that covers can be more popular".
My favorite Pink Floyd song is "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving With a Pict".
corvus13 holy shit this man is serious
@@ryanhasani Yep
Funky town by the ...... Beegees đđđ
Here is my selection for the songs that they should do in the next Do College Kids Know 70s Music
1.Still The Same- Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band(1978)
2. My Sharona- The Knack(1979)
3. More Than A Feeling- Boston(1976)
4. Stuck In The Middle With You- Stealers Wheel(1973)
5.Ramblin Man- The Allman Brothers Band(1973)
6. Schools Out- Alice Cooper(1972)
7. I Want You Back- The Jackson 5(1970)
What about Head Games by Foreigner?
1979 should be "Pop Muzik" by M.
That would be good to but I dont really know that song but I do know of it
âHonestly Iâm so good at this! I think Iâm gonna get all of these songsâ..... gets absolutely none right đ
The fact that Eric represented the SPN family properly and spazzed to Carry On Wayward Son made me so happy.
Oh my god the fact that Supernatural was brought up made this video the best ever!!!!! GAHHH!!!
You need to do a who sang it better, original vs cover. Ex all along the watchtower dylan vs hendrix or wild horses stones vs the Sundays,
"Back when all songs had guitar solos, I like it" yeah...
you should do a do they know the original song/ artist, using famous songs that were sampled and or covered and see if the know the original song or artist
YESS!
I always love these episodes because they always give me more songs to add to my playlist.
Same Eric...same. Supernatural lol
Eric's shirt is VERY 70s...
This is my new favorite episode... Literally every single song was iconic. Well done guys.
Looooove these videos! Next time you should add in some Bob Dylan, Beatles (solo career stuff), The Runaways, Supertramp, Billy Joel, Heart... :)
seriously who doesnt know eric clapton?
Garhon Wong đđ
Clapton is god
7:19 - YES ERIC!!!! I love that all he thought of was that great show!!!
morgan's pink floyd rant at the end đđđ
They gotta react to supernatural now!!!
I just became a bigger fan of Eric because of his Supernatural knowledge
There is always a SPN fan somehwere, love you eric!!!
Oh my god, Eric loves Supernatural! This just makes me love him even more
Really? No one mentioned Pulp Fiction with that Al Green song? They only played the entire song beginning to end when Bruce Willis had that long talk with Marcellis Wallace. The song completely distracted me from the conversation... to this day I have no clue what they were talking about lol.
