Literally millions like you because of jbp. Congratulations and keep it up. You are the type that makes Jordan cry. He has improved me too.

Fuck yeah brother. Keep hammering. JP is the man .
In 2017 I was 8 years into living as a MTF transgender person. Was an addict and had no self esteem. Jordan helped me figure out how to take control and be a man. What is your plan now, what goals do you have for your future?
It’s your journey, live to enjoy it, glad you’re finding peace.
Two and half hours worth of discussion with almost no one interrupting each other. All very generous listeners.
Yeah, it was essentially PBD interviewing Jordan, with no interruptions (from Adam). Nice.
The last years i was so sad & worried to see Jordan in the state he was and feared we might not hear from him again.
Watching this shows me he`s back and alive & kicking as he ever was!!
Glad to see him up on his feet again!!
What are you referring to?
I wanna thank Adam that he didn't interrupt Dr . Peterson

It feels like Dr. Peterson is the only person who is actually trying to sort out the current situation in Canada and US. Every interview brings more and more new ideas from him.

We must protect Jordan Peterson at all cost!
Im sure any intelligent Canadiam who knows what's really going on can agree with this. He is a rare gem and yes he needs to be protected. He's shown his strength in his own life to stand the test of time and if he had the motivation to run for PM I would always vote for him.
I'm with you Duke, I honestly worry about him. Such a truely great man.
We definitely need to listen more to the canaries in the coal mine

Protect, yes. BUT DO NOT DEIFY. That would actually run counter to what he would want, and the line is sometimes hard to see before you cross it.
PDB and Dr Peterson engaged in a serious discussion about stuff that matters. Indescribably satisfying. Thanks for the Podcast.

Love how y’all just talked about real shit here. No drama, no headlines, no debates, no polarizing opinions, no arguments, NUFFIN but real conversations amongst philosophers ❤️🔥
I'm so thankful I discovered Dr. Peterson in this early stage of my life.
JP is a revelation for YOUNG people, keep learning and reading and taking chances and experiences and see how that dissolves fast.
Most people seem to take his explanations of EVERYTHING he says because they have none of their own, that veneration changes when YOUNG people obey him, and you clean your room and see that the so called results he says will come are not there, same with all the other recommendations
... but if you go and hold on to your balls and open a business and take those chances/risks and stop blaming others for how your life is, and stop looking for gods like JP to guide you, you will see for yourself you are stronger than you think, so you win one thing, then another and another until you are another person.
This is why I dislike how YOUNG people hold on to the raft JP is in the middle of a huge ocean, sure it helps, but you have to also know how to navigate that ocean of many things that exist in it. Let go of the raft at some point, and try living on your own!!
If you're 40-60 and you still didn't know the twelve rules he talks about in his book, then WTF have you been doing with your life!! You should have known this shit by fifteen!! Thus, even now with JP nothing will change!
Good luck.
@@ggrthemostgodless8713 I'm 42 and I think the new generation could use some advices he gives but sure you figured all of what he says with your high IQ/EQ ^^
@@entasis704
I get what you're saying, but that is cheap shot on YOUR part, it is a deviation of the subject, the FACT that men should know all of that by their teen years.
So you can insult people so you don't have to deal with the points made.
Do YOU really needed someone to tell you to clean your room, listen respectfully to others, etc etc.??
And about hierarchies and how YOU fit into it, the sexual marketplace etc... you were so isolated that you didn't know THAT??
Especially the sexual marketplace, either you get women or you don't, YOU GET LAID OR YOU DON'T, all other words are explanations for why it does happen or why it doesn't, but most people know that already, you know how women select men, and how men select women, is not that complicated to observe, but it is hard to know how to go about it to get the only result that matters BIOLOGICALLY in the end, either some women want to screw you or they don't, and THAT IS HOW you know your place in basically any hierarchy.
But it gets more interesting still, because if you DO NOT have issues getting women and you get plenty, at some point you decide which women you want to screw and which you rather not, it is that final point of men choosing women instead of women choosing YOU that matters in that "sexual" game.
I am NOT saying JP has nothing to intelligent to say... only that THOSE things are not.

@@entasis704
Jesus!!
you need a "perfect" world for parents to teach "stuff" to their kids??
Assume your parents didn't teach you shit, you go to school and you notice the OTHER kids and how it is with them, how they behave and what kinds of things they do... do you think you could recognize GOOD parents if yours were neglectful??
People of corse don't like it when I say things like this, then they hide with "so you think you re perfect, you're so judgmental..." I guess if stating facts in a direct way judgmental then I am, but all I want is to unmask this clown that does a great slide of hand.
Thanks to the internet, Jordan Peterson will be remembered for being: 1) One of the most influential, intellectual minds in modern history, and 2) The ultimate conduit to Bible/God, Dostoyevsky, Jung, Nietzsche, Orwell, Piaget, Solzhenitsyn, finding meaning, morals, etc.
"And the people of Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to Paul’s message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth." Acts 17:11
Conduit to God? When did he talk with God, exactly?

I was hired into a machinist apprenticeship in 1971. they had 700 applicants and i was chosen with six other . After a while i asked the people that interviewed me why me. they replied. john you were on the top of the list. you were "hired" when you walked in the door. You were the ONLY ONE that showed up dressed appropriately for work. you had a crisp blue denim shirt new blue jeans hard toed work boots safety glasses and you even had a six inch machinist scale in your shirt pocket. But you were also qualified.
I got a lot of respect for that trade.
@@chrisbova9686 In a sense we don't choose the trade. If we follow our abilities, do the things we like to do and what interests us. we pay attention when the subject appears in a magazine or video we find ourselves in that trade. I was lucky, as a small boy i decided i would be a machinist when i got big, and against my parents and the teachers wishes, at the catholic schools i attended for 12 painful years . I refused college and became a machinist. later on in life i attended a couple years at the community college studying engineering just to find out what calculus was all about.. I feel sorry for folks that find themselves working as machinists, but hate the work, and are only working as machinists because when they were young they got good starting pay, and later own feel like they hate the work, but they can't start over as entry level anywhere so keep doing what they don't enjoy just for decent wages.
@@johngillon6969 interesting perspective. I was a welder as my side gig, and wanted to learn to be a machinist, but the early 2000s were right when CO machinists were getting paid in beans.
@@chrisbova9686 when i started, the machinists all had good cars, nice homes, and it was due to the fact that the union movement began before the war and there was so much industries pumping out the tanks and planes. i was a witness to seeing the trade go from an almost professional type job to just factory work. i ended up in the end working out of my garage making parts for former employers and other customers i had met over the years. i was trained in a union apprenticeship and in those days a union journeyman's card could get you a good job anywhere. you were wise to not train as a machinist as the idiots in wall street have eaten up all the good shops and because they had no real experience, most of the shops went out of business and the work went to sweat shops in asia. and the corporate powers have killed most of the unions as they see the unions as the enemy, and hollywood has sold us this shit for years, even before mickey mouse was born. ^ nice one, smart arse above 🤦🏻♂️ like it’s namesake. No good
@@Thomas-wm7qf it’s maybe a generational thing.. we got shipped off to uni because “you need a degree”. Dads never taught us that stuff. Parents assumed because we weren’t poor they had given their children what they needed - this is false. I have put a lot of work into my life over the last 4 years and I’m becoming unique amongst my peers for doing so. It’s been tough and scary as hell. We are many anxious drug addicts.
Pat compares him to Plato here... I wouldn’t go that far yet, but “Know thyself” is one of the most important & profound things you can learn. Personal responsibility is not taken for granted - stop doing so. Boomers knew all this and just fell asleep at the wheel and let the world turn into this sh1thole we currently inhabit. That’s why JP is lifting young men, in particular, en masse out of downward spirals or empty lives. So maybe you don’t understand because you knew these things but there is a large demographic of people who never heard these things and no MSM channel will promote these ideas, common as you may assume them to be
@@Thomas-wm7qf so yes the groundwork is “self help” - it’s tough work. But JP told us that is what we need to do to become fulfilled

I was 17 when I met both of them online, I live in Iran and I started a game development company here, I'm not sure what do you mean by entertaining. when I said I've learned so much from JP I mean I watched his Personality and Transformation and Maps of Meaning class and his Biblical Series and read his 12 rules for life. I've learned about psychology through the lessons he thought me about Freud, Jean Piaget. I've learned a lot about totalitarianism, as I said I live in Iran so we had no education about this subject (since it's a totalitarian regime). I've learned about capitalism both from JP and PBD, I've learned how to run a business with hundreds of videos of PBD and reading his "Your Next Five Moves" which some strategies from that book inspired me to make some changes in my management technique that is making me enough money to finally open offices outside of Iran and grow my company. and even small stuff that Pat didn't taught directly like who Milton Fridman was and stuff like that. which broadened my knowledge as an entrepreneur and the list goes on and on. JP thought me that when living under a tyrannical government the right thing to do is to take responsibility on an individual level and not be a victim and stand up for myself.
Two best teachers i had in my life, thank you guys.
The whole world loves you Jordon. Screw those who don't!
We need more people like Jordan Peterson, listening to him the last 6 months has inspired me.
From Ireland. Stay doing what you're doing. Journey on in your quest for truth. No more important work than that. God bless you and your family. May he shine his light on you always and keep you strong. Thank you guys.🥰
I love the conversation I am an Africa european i love your talks and Jordan’ s. You did a lot for me!
Has been quite some time since I’ve listened to Dr. Peterson. And, I still love Jordan. He is authentic, interesting, and I believe - a good man who cares about the well-being of others, society, culture, Family and, our God given World & All Good Things; and he cares about Doing The Best he can. He’d be a wonderful man to have a conversation with. (imo)
I love how Patrick goes beyond superficiality in his interviews, he really asks the right questions
What does superciality mean?
I think they meant 'superFIciality.'
Yeah, but he sort of set up some traps to like the Castro thing in the end. It’s like “join our club” and JP didn’t accept the invitations. But I’m overall pleased with the talk
By far one of the most interesting interviews with JBP lately. Well done and thank you for your work!
@messenger ministries what
@messenger ministries Damn, it all makes sense now! .... or whatever the opposite of that is.
@messenger ministries woke
I could listen to Jordan Peterson all day. Thank you so much for letting him talk without constantly interrupting.
This was a pleasure to watch and listen. Am at work and listening on airpods. Ty for facilitating this discussion. And dressing like adults
Jordan Peterson once said:
"In order to think, you have to risk being offensive."
Love this
Gotcha
My favorite guest, Jordan is a hero to me and everytime he speaks I listen. It's nice to see people wade through the worlds current bs and come out speaking facts and wisdom so Thank You Jordan!
What Jordan says around 20:00:30 resonates with me so much to be honest, it feels like during my younger years in school I missed people telling me this message.
Thank you for this interview Patrick. Well done.
Dr Jordan Peterson is a legend of our time
i love dr. peterson - he's a legend. thanks for the podcast
(Edit from my other comment)
37:58 this is the point about "tell the truth" that flies over many people's heads when Jordan conveys the point. very key to understand - "Helping people walk through thinking about why telling the truth is a good idea. Not as a top-down, shake-your-finger moral injunction: 'Don't lie, you shouldn't lie' - but in a detailed manner to explain the relationship between the instrumental use of deceit and the collapse of civilizations."
40:59 - that's interesting. this is probably why many people hope for an afterlife because it helps them develop a moral framework to not "rule in hell" but have a "heaven worth striving for."
46:26 yeah I see Dr. Peterson's point where if you're naturally inclined to do what you do and it happens to make the impact it does (like Joe Rogan in his own way), then that's the path you should stay on. It's not that you're "called upon" by society to do a certain thing, but you're called upon by your own will to make a dutiful impact that's in line with what gives you purpose.
1:00:14 exactly. insane how this happened
1:52:00 great point about how we rely much on China economically, Cina's become this totalitarian state over the last two decades, and we replicated China's covid policies in a jiff. this is the true threat to America and other countries
2:25:29 I think many people fail to recognize that the propositional statements or "rules" in religious text is not well communicated or understood other than its literal meaning. this is why Jordan attracts the audience of people who'd otherwise try to find solice in religion.
Are you on crack cocaine again?
I love him 100%
@@tedmarley4341 Are you employed for this or is it hobby? Working that comment section mood? What’s next? Do you cover only youtube? Or you go cross app? Instagram, facebook are also you place of your focus? I asume all the JBP is focus or you go full on “alt-right silk path”?
Jordan B Peterson. I can listen to him speak for hours. He's and Amazing speaker!
This is so compelling to listen to I had to listen to it in one sitting. Now its 1am.
It is a huge pleasure to listen to JP. Love his clear, complex, deep speech and knowledgeable. I can listen to this man talking for hours on end 🙂
Well repres he starts off ok but then starts lying through his teeth, just dribbles shit
Imho of course lol
We need to Get PBD podcast out there more. The discussions are very impactful. I share with everyone I interact with.
It’s growing brother.
He's a very good interviewer. Starting to prefer this over JRE
Nah
I think you mean, we need PBD to bring JP level guests for us to listen.
Is he done with valuetainment?
"People don't vote their reality, they vote their dreams"
Man I don't even remember my dreams. They were beaten out of me by my parents teachers and peers.
I don't know how old you are but time travels fast. Clarifying what motivates you, your aspirations, your dreams should be your priority the next few weeks, even if it will take a few years to achieve your dreams. Your "dreams" will become your 'North Star" not only guiding you to your full potential but away from all of the world's distractions.
I'm 69 years old, very late in my life and finally getting this message. BTW, JP is a great source of inspiration.
You confided in friends, but they are not.
Forgive yourself for expecting a friend in a person who you didn't establish friendships' mutual trust with.
Separate the social figure from the person, and the dream will reemerge once you do meaningful things.
First time listening to your podcast but I got here as a fan of JP. I really enjoyed the hosts, will be subscribing for more
Rogan, PBD, Peterson… Wow imagine the attention that collaboration could bring!!! 🔥🔥🔥
I’m so grateful that this is free and available to everyone on demand. Thank you deeply.
Jbp is an amazing man, learned more from him than anyone else by a mile, thanks doc
Thanks for this conversation!
1. I haven’t seen Adam so well-behaved!
2. Jordan was right on his game here. Sharp. Great to see.
Looking forward to the world tour.
Adam was curious about when divorce makes sense… The only single guy in the room. Love it 😂 good show guys
That’s funny.
considering 50% of all marriages end in divorce its worth understanding the issue more :D
Bet you Patt is thinking about it!!! He's getting to big for his wife!!!! 😂
He never asked the actual question during the podcast though did he? Or did I miss it?
@@donartist5766 that's an absurd statement
Best question from Dave there, forcing the amalgamation of thinker and leaders. Fantastic!
Dr Jordan Peterson is someone who I really respect and try to imply his teachings in my life.
The interviewer and his questionable sweeping statements made Jordan Peterson look positively humble...and I must say, I think Jordon was spot on that his influence as a clinical psychologist is far more valuable than it ever would have been as a politician!
I love how smoothly he segues into the next topics. It's a masterclass in conversation.
Love listening to Jordan. He’s so smart, kind and humble .
The world needs Jordan Petersen, brilliant, courageous, & genuine
The ONE VIDEO where Adam knew to behave and not throw tantrums because he knows "Dr Peterson will not tolerate it!!" ROFL PRICELESS!!!
