Oh my gosh. I rock too and am very self conscious about it. I’ve been told it’s a self soothing mechanism. Rock on Fly Lady. You inspire me in many ways even tho I am just naturally neat and organized. I do it subconsciously. However, cleaning is a conscious effort but once I get my mind on it I really love it, as well as the end result. Being tired from work is actually a blessing. 🤗
I had shingles last year all across the side of my back and onto my chest. They don’t tell you how bad the pain is for several days before the rash shows up. I can see how it could feel like a heart attack! Mine felt exactly like a dislocated rib and I went to a few different chiropractors and physio to try and fix it. Then the rash started coming out. I was lucky to get an antiviral within the first 48 hours of the rash and it probably decreased the time I had it. But it was incredibly painful, and I’m used to chronic pain.
I clip our cats’ nails but you really have to start when they’re young so they’re used to it. You can hire people that will come to your house to clip their claws. They’d have tips and tricks to make it work with an unruly cat.
Also if the claws are brittle, they could put little silicone covers on them after they’re trimmed nice.
If you bring your cat to tractor supply they will clip her nails for $20 call first to see when the vet team comes in .

When barely r30 years ago 2 tiny shingles the worse pain I have ever felt worse ythan my major car crash also years ago when Our Lord let me know it was not my time work to be. done. My life flashed before my eyes . No pain in wreck b ut, afterward ony. Amazing. experience no p ain during wreck and all in slow motion I was only 20.
I saw a video on Instagram where a cat will just relax and cooperate, if you hold the cat (of any age) like its mama would (by the scruff of the neck, with your teeth!) -- we don't have cats, just a very docile golden retriever.
