Great video! Been looking for a mounting solution that does not involve drilling holes in the truck or using the windshield suction cup system that came with the 890. Can you advise if you got the 22" or 15" Arkon mount? Also, I see you did not use the cigarette lighter in the console to get your power. Did you hardwire the Garmin cord to the truck? Thanks!
Sorry, I see later on in the video that you ran the wire down underneath the carpet and into the engine bay of the truck where I assume you cut the cigarette plug off and spliced into a power source in the truck. Guess the only issue maybe where the cup holders will not be useable when the GPS is mounted?
The problem I'm having and attempting to work out with Garmin and/or RV TripWizard, is to have the unit receive a pre-planned trip (.GPX file) and display that trip properly to navigate from stop-to-stop. If you do pre-planned stops, are you having THIS problem??
Hey Darren, actually decided to build my own mount utilizing the top of the radio bezel on my Ram 3500, see my post on the finished product. Not sure if this will work on your F250 but I used a reinforcement plate sold at Home Depot.

The Akron mounts have a 25 mm ball. I don't know how he got it to go into the 22 mm socket on the Garmin.
@@mauro6324 He may have an F250 with the upfitter switches. Pretty easy to hook those up for power.

I actually do not use this feature. However, I'll take a look and see. Thanks for watching.
It took me awhile to figure it.out..But u must save each stop quickly or else youll lose it..

the screen is so glary I can't see anything on mine?
