Nike has been closing some of their stores as well as limiting sales to other retailers. I remember back in 2016 they had loads of 20% off sales and the family %30 off sale a few times a year. At one point they let amazon sell nike directly but later canceled the deal. Seems they are trying hard to artificially raise shoe prices. When you focus on a niche and blow off the wider audience, this kinda thing happens (ain't that right, Bud Light?).
