Who else saw the Wynn Las Vegas ad popup at 1:03:56😂 The universe wants WulffdenDad to get that trip!!!
Re: VR - unless they figure out some kind of work around for people with monocular vision, VR cannot replace 2D interfaces entirely. And that's not even touching on other vision problems generally fixed with glasses.
You boys talking about Diablo 3 was so hilarious and such a bad take on a game lol it's a great part about the backlog
The Wulff brothers are just not ARPG guys, you can tell lmao
Meanwhile, we D3 players have thousands of hours on them. When I first played it in the Switch, I spent entire days playing it on the weekends, only stopping to shit, eat and sleep, literally lol
And don’t ask me about D2R, or I’m gonna write an even longer post about it!
1:38:38 I also love pilot wings. Countless headaches at the demo kiosk and then hours of playing after buying both versions of the 2DSs
How great would it be to have a new HD Pilotwings? 😩
Y’all definitely talked about the PS3 emulation on a previous episode.
My guess is that N64, GBA and other "Expansion Pack" stuff will move to the normal NSO tier at some point in the future when they'll put GC and DS etc. on the Expansion Pack.
lol, when Diablo 3 hit the Switch, i put another 190 h in the game.
It was just to convenient to play it on the go.
Diablo III is 60fps on Switch and looks pretty good.
"For you, the day Bison graced your village was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday."
There are a lot of posting for watches that look like the goldeneye health bar starting at $20.
Came in to say this podcast rules and I listen regularly on Apple Podcasts.
I promise I’ll comment more with cool stuff about the podcast but can you guys master the audio louder? I’m a producer/composer and I love this podcast for gaming news during long car trips but maxing out my car/phone volume still doesn’t drown outside noise
Hoping to see you at one of these cons! Cheers
I want a VR headset app that takes an HDMI input and makes an IMAX size screen in my living room. I'll play a Switch game on a 120 foot virtual screen.
It was quite easy: The standard NSO was kind of a must-have even before the NES games arrived. It was a no-brainer. When the Expansion Pack arrived, they made it kinda tasty from the beginning. The Animal Crossing DLC, and then the Mario Kart Expansion Pack - plus the additional systems. I never had a real problem with it - other than the fact that I, too, rather have things be there even when you have no chance of being online. But I'm looking forward to Switch 2, and we might just see DS, GameCube, and later on 3DS and Wii U games. It might take years and years, but what the service offers is only getting better over time. That said, I'll play SMB and SML on a Miyoo mini Plus and RG 35XX SP instead of on NSO.
One very probable upcoming pro about NSO, is that it’ll be transferable to the next Nintendo system, unlike VC.
Wulf brothers, would you consider to have the spreadsheet for backlog be an able to be viewed but obv no editing
The best scenario is to continue the NSO but give the option for us to buy the games even if it's only if we have the NSO or if having the NSO you get those games at a discounted price
Nothing on Beyond Good and Evil 20th anniversary? :) Maybe next week.
Kepp up the good job
Bob needs to join us watch nerds and get a G Schock!
Nintendo is the only one focusing on retro games in this way and I love it, wish Playstation did the same, last time I checked their pickings were slim.
And here we go and here we go
Microsoft pulled a Blizzard with Tango Gameworks.
Here's my take on VR. Why hasn't someone (or company) created a reading level style grading system for VR games and content.
Have it where oh you want to play Horizion or something that's VR level 3; oh you want to play Eve Online VR that's level 5. Have it so that people understand that just because they legitimately feel like crap (because motion sickness) from one game; they'll think it's the platform and not the games themselves.
Have these platforms have a dev test demo for customers so they can determine what their brains can handle in regards to motion sickness. That way, if they ever want to buy or try a VR game; they know where their limits are.
That justification for shutting Tango really pisses me off and is just a huge fuck you to all the staff and even Mikami, he spent years longer at the studio than he wanted to in order to transition slowly out of his lead role and ensure the studio was set up to succeed and survive without him and Microsoft just comes in like nah fuck you and fuck every single employee
Will I need your help. Note that I have never read comics before, and do not understand a single thing of how they work. I want to get into reading spider man comics, but don't know where to start. Just one look at the spider man page on the marvel website and I'm bombarded with 40 million different issues and series and sub-series and whatnot. I just want some good spider man comics to start reading, and hey maybe after that I'll try getting into deadpool, but I've heard x-men is complicated so whatever.
Oppenheimer on a plane is wild.
Hey Will I’m just starting to get into comic books, specifically Spider-Man. Is there a certain run I should start with? And would I have to start with the first issue in that series?
LI bros, you guys ever check out 4th world in smithtown? Great comic shop
NSO is a rom rental service where even though it's cheap - over half of what's offered I'll never play and if I stop paying my sub it's all gone. I'd still rather pick and choose. All of it boils down to Nintendo needing to find a way to continue to sell you the same games until you're dead, but in a way that pulls the veil over your eyes to seem like a better deal.
Oppenheimer created Godzilla
Four Swords online is awesome. Oddly all four of us were in the same room but Local multi-player was worse than Online multi-player.
I like VC for having a legal copy BUT NSO is really convenient. But ill give VC this it has metroid trilogy and the switch doesnt....yet lol
Will any movies watched recently?
movies are all terrible right mow
let's gooooo!!! best chill conversation podcast even if they are really CIA plants
Just here so the Wulfs don’t get fined.
Wayne’s World, Wayne’s World - party Time - Excellent. wahh wahh wahhh widdly widdly woooooo
If you hack it then yes obviously. It can play every GameCube game and before NATIVLY
NSO sucked at launch and it’s much better now. It’s not better to me than VC yet until we get older Pokémon games and stuff like that which VC had. There is no excuse to not have them on there in NSO or at least they could do a separate VC style purchase. They had them available before they can and should have them now. I also think the layout blows 😂 some rows of games on NSO are just 1 big box art and other rows have 2-4 smaller ones it’s kind of an eyesore but I do like the service now and think it’s worth it.
NSO is better. Hands down.
Also the reason Capcom and whoever released their retro games in collections wasn't because NSO was a slow rollout and they decided to do it themselves.... They did it to make more money and the collections are better anyway.
Also ..... All these retro games you can easily emulate. Why the hell would I buy these games again? Been gaming since the late 80s.
Virtual Console. I want to buy my games and not pay a dam subscription service
😀
Sega Channel > Virtual Console
Honestly, unless Nintendo creates an achievement system, NSO will always just be for convenience and saving money. I’d rather just play retro games I want on my PC :p
I think NSO is WAY better than the virtual console. Everyone with the same subscription all have the same games (you don't have to convince someone to buy a game) When games drop like Metroid Zero Mission, Metroid fans can play without spending $8 for just 1 single game. The virtual console adds up over time. I would have far less retro games to play on the Switch if I had to buy them individually. I just wouldn't buy a lot of them
well i guess it’s subjective bc you’re wrong. give it 5yrs and all those games will be gone with no way to access them or look back on them 🤷🏻
@@fairyboy444 They would probably want to keep NSO going into the next gen for another 8 years. And even if you could buy the games they would eventually close down the storefront, so either way the result is the same.
@@vladtalksmovies perhaps. perhaps not. we shall see, king 👑
@vladtalksmovies I'm also assuming nso will be on the Switch 2. Hoping for backwards compatibility as well
@fairyboy444 nah I'm right. Virtual console didn't transfer to the next gen and the Virtual stores will be closed. When was the last time you busted out the Wii for your Virtual console collection? We'll be on to the next thing. At least they are being up front about it being a rental
