    Woahh thank you so much ! I’m nearly 15years old and my dream is to became a doctor in uk, I live in France and I’m planning to leave the century one I get a bit older with my friends and continue our studies in Uk ! I somehow think that in Uk it’s much easier than here, I can not wait to see myself growing up while my dreams comes true.

    Its an expensive degree, a specially for international student, would be nice to hear how people can split in stages the study process, st what stage what other splits to different areas etc.

      Hello, you can try getting in through clearing! Most UK universities require AAA for your a levels.

      For A-Levels, nowadays, you’re looking at AAA to be accepted. Some unis require less, some more, but this is about average

    My Brother got 6A* 3as in o level and 3a* in A level and has a good amount of extra curricular activities including being the Headboy of His college and has done voluntary work in hospitals, what are his chances of getting into getting into KCL medical school

    Hello there, I'm from Bangldesh and I'm studying bachelors majoring in microbiology. i'm really very passionate about studying medicine in uk. Can I apply for med school if I complete my bsc in 5years including masters? Not to mention by that time I'll be around 25.

      Hi. Thanks for reaching out! Yes, you would definitely be eligible to apply with those qualifications, especially if you have a good grade. You would need to get them 'translated' for equivalence, but this is relatively straight forward. The bigger question is that of the international fees, which are quite expensive.       Same I’m taking ap courses too in Canada and I’ve seen a lot of videos talking about IB and I haven’t took IB but I saw on a forum from quora saying that IB is not a requirement you just need high grades whether academic or ap or even in IB but I don’t know if it’s trust worthy enough

    Hi, study in med schools in the UK do you have to apply after highschool? or is there an option after getting your undergrad? Just a little confused about the process.

      You can do either. Apply with a degree or as an undergrad. Grad application is more competitive, and generally you need at least the equivalent of a 2:1 to get in

      @@rachelbrownrigg6949 You're not obliged to apply to GEM if you have a previous degree. GEM is more competitive, so people usually have a strategy where they combine a few GEM choices with one or two theoretically 'easier' undergrad entry options

    This year is my first year in uni in my country the first two years are prepatory for engeneering but my plan was to change universities and pass the medical school entering exam the next year and when I sent my application I chosed in the subject area computer science. Is there any way I can do medical school after that because I don't want to continue studying in a field I don't like.

    I am Gambian who completed senior secondary school WASSCE and got B3 in Biology, C5 in Chemistry and C6 in Maths but I will be coming to UK by July to finally study in UK and I would like to study medicine.
    Do I need UCAT and WASSCE only to apply.
    Do I still need UK A-level, WASSCE and UCAT for applications.
    If I do very well in UCAT and with the Gambian WASSCE, can I get admission to UK medical school.

      The best thing to do is to speak directly to the medical school admissions offices of the medical school. They each will have a slightly different policy for the WASSCE, and will ask for a bit about you, then tell you whether you're eligible for that particular university. Where are you thinking of applying to?

      You don't need Chemistry at University to be eligible. Usually a healthcare degree will put you in a good position. We would have to speak to the universities and check the equivalence of your grade to see which universities will take you on, but there should be some. I can help you with this if you'd like.
