Itallia 90 was the first tournament I remember and Euro 2000 was by far the best I've seen to date (even with Scotland absent which became the norm with this tournament). Absolute peak Zidane. A great Dutch side and that Czech team should have won Euro 2004. Great times.

Easily half of them were contenders for the final victory, no easy game, always a few serious contenders out in the first round, some quarter finals that could be the final. Picture this: france’s easier game was against denmark, 1992 winner and 1998 quarter finalist. Second easier against czecki, finalist of the last one. Wow

Нормальный футбол был. От каждого касания не падали, старались рубиться. Звёздные игроки не капризничали, как сейчас Роналду, Неймар или Мбаппе а тренер решал и никто не возмушался и не плакался.
