This makes me just want to go visit other gyms all the time. I imagine you learn more since you're rolling with a different set of people!

Totally, its interesting to see the different warm-ups, teaching styles and rolls from different schools. For sure, get out there and visit other schools

" If you make jelly,, give him some damn jelly",,,,, that cracked me up.

LOL me too. In a pinch I guess you could always just grab a bunch of jelly packets from the local Waffle House and throw them in a fancy gift bag. A side benefit of this is that if you ever train at that gym again, everyone will still remember your name.

My BJJ school actively builds relationships with other schools overseas and encourages us to train with them when we travel. At last count we have 10 schools from UK, HONG KONG, USA and AUSTRALIA we can train at up to 12 times a year for free, and like wise for them... Cant speak highly enough of engaging with people outside your regular school

Hey Joe, this video popped up randomly so I'd thought I drop you a line. We trained a bit at Lee Hee Sung's when I was in Korea from 2011-2013. You were a blue belt at the time and I was a white belt (still am, haha!) It's cool you have a youtube channel bro. We had a lot of good rolls and I had a helluva time passing your guard. If it's still not ringing a bell, I also was a Judo black belt Korean-American.
Do you remember Hoon? The former Korean Special Forces guy. He has his own gym now and is likely a black belt.

Hey brother, of course I remember you. Some very competitive rolls. You still in Korea and doing Judo?

I live in Beijing, China now. I dunno if you remember this, but Master Lee asked me to leave his gym for no apparent reason. The word was that he had a habit of doing that for inexplicable reasons. I saw a photo that he promoted you to purple a few years back. I hope things are cool with you brother.

What do you recommend to not be the stinky guy? I sprayed myself before training and someone was allergic to my spray. I want K.O. but not with my aroma. Oils?

Some gyms yes. Some of the "famous" gyms charge US $100 for a one time visit.
