Ahoy Mates! Welcome onboard Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady! This is Virgin Voyages first ever cruise ship! Virgin Record’s Richard Branson had a new vision for the cruise industry and the Scarlet Lady is the flagship vessel of that vision. Sailing on Virgin Voyages will be a very unique experience compared to other cruise lines’ sailings. This is an adult only cruise line that offers many non-traditional inclusions and concepts. Included in your cruise fare price are gratuities, basic wi-fi, all dining venues, and non-alcoholic beverages (such as soft drinks). The ship and crew are committed to nautical theming and creating a fun adult-friendly atmosphere!
Today we are in Costa Maya Mexico! Before getting off the ship I had a spin class and Matt took on the expedition of trying to find live sporting events onboard! Then we had arguably one of the best pizzas we have ever had on a cruise ship! Once of the ship we tried to go to a free snorkeling spot close to the pier we had frequented on other sailings, but things did not go the way we planned. But we still had lots of fun with our plan B! Once back on the ship we had a yummy dinner at the Wake and took a look at the onboard shopping in the Roundabout!

Hey, if you take a 5 minute (and $5) cab ride to the beach just south of there, there is great snorkeling. Just snorkel past the seaweed and there is some small coral with many amazing small fish. The water is approximately 3 or 4 feet deep.

Matt as a Texans fan I feel your pain. The pizza and pretzel looked great. MSC has awesome included pizza. I have wondered why they don't put a big beach club right there. The port is to the left of the dock but lots of open land to the right of the dock.

Hi Joshua! It didn’t hurt our eyes at all. It was pretty cool, it did cause flicker on our camera lenses so that caused some specific struggles for us 😂 But other wise we were fine with it! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🛳
Too bad snorkeling didn't work out as planned. I had that happen in Cozumel once. Water was just too rough that time.
