    Well, it looked like a perfect day and with enough of a breeze to dry the paint. It is always good to see the steps others paint. I was surprised to hear several planes go over and the pretty steady traffic. Very nice painting, I always love trees, great job Marty.

      @@essietangle9931 Como Park here in Saint Paul is a pretty busy place on the weekends. I was set up not far from one of the main entrances to the park because I couldn’t find better parking 😊 Hope the noise wasn’t too distracting. Thanks for the watch and for the kind comments as always Essie. Hope you’re staying cool. 😎

      @@owingsart the noise wasn’t at all distracting, it just proves an artist can enjoy their art anywhere.

    Watched this one 2x. Took away what I think is an important lessons. Probably not what you intended but one was using shapes. And for some reason I kept thinking paint what your eyes see not what your brain thinks they see. Please take into consideration I am an aging hippie. Think that explains a lot about my brain processes.

      Hi NanaBeth - Aging Hippies are awesome! My mom took me to Woodstock when I was 5 years old. 🙂 I think painting with your eyes and not what your brain thinks it's see's is a common refrain in art school, so it's really awesome that came through someone. Shapes are a really great start to any sketch/painting/thumbnail. Thanks for watching (2X) and for the kind comments AND for all of your support!

    What is asmr?

    • @ellenm7806
      @ellenm7806 Před 28 dny +1

      From what I understand Asmr is a physical sensory response to sounds- it's a calming, relaxing experience to some people from different sounds like whispering, rustling of leaves, I think it's softer sounds

      @@kstutz230 Hi kstutz230 - it’s officially, "Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response." It typically refers to the "tingly feeling" that travels from the head downward that some experience in response to certain sounds, feelings, or descriptions. Colloquially it’s just a mellow video or music that is calming.

      So good to see you sketching and painting outdoors again, Marty. I always could watch you draw trees all day long! This video certainly is relaxing in more ways than one. ❤ Your fan from Door County
