  • How to survive bear or shark attack? What should you do if you are bitten by a snake? Here're some tips on what to do when you encounter a wild animal and how to survive wild animal attacks.
When we meet some wild animals on a picnic or in the woods, we get scared. But we usually don't know what to do in each case as we might not fully realize the danger and act properly.
Any warm-blooded animal might be a carrier of rabies. This is a lethal disease that can't be cured. The disease is transmitted through a bite or spit. However sweet an animal seems, you'd better not touch it.

    SUMMARY
-Never approach moose calves or make any abrupt movements.
-Don’t Press the car horn or blink the lights if you see a moose or a boar on the road. Slowly stop if the animal appears on the road.
-Never touch a hedgehog barehanded as you might catch a whole variety of infections, only take it with you if it’s wounded.
-Don’t try to outrun an angry boar, climb up a tree instead.
-Don’t panic if you find a bat in your apartment. Put on some thick gloves and carefully take it.
-Never try to play with a fox, coyote, or a jackal no matter how cute it looks. Instead, stretch out your arms or clothes to give the impression that you have increased in size.
-Only try to save a nestling if it has visible damage.
-Don’t think that a dolphin can do absolutely no harm to you. Swim away from it if you can.
-If you see a dolphin ashore, don’t carry it back to the sea. Speak to rescuers or the coast guard and wait for help near the dolphin.
-In case you ever meet a shark, stay still and defend yourself. Punch it on the nose with all your might and try to leave the water.
-Don't let your pets play with wild animals. Don't feed wild animals. Never touch young animals. Their parents will be aggressive.

HIDING BEHIND A TREE FOR A MOSE DOES WORK I was in Colorado hiking with my family when me my brother and my sister went about half a mile ahead of the group. There was a giant rock in the trail so we didn’t see the Mose, but when we went around the corner the Mose started to charge at us. Due to fight or flight instincts I ran away, but the Mose would catch up clearly and was mostly charging at me. After a couple of the longest seconds in my life I hid behind a tree and the Mose lost interest and was eating grass right bye me!!!!! I’m only 11 and that was last summer (I had just turned 11 when that happened) and I was scared. Later that day we heard from other hikers that that Mose had two babies. I have never liked Moses since then and they now sit firmly in my lest favorite animal spot.

It is "moose" not Mose! You must live up in the northern country, but hiding and being VERY quiet is always good, they will usually go away. A mother moose will attack, but normally, they will hear you before you even see them and they will move away. People need to learn to respect the space of ALL wild animals and leave them alone in the wild! But if you ARE going to be in their area, learn some safety rules in dealing with them if necessary. Today, since humans are encroaching on wild areas so much, meeting a wild animal happens more frequently so if you live in one of those areas, learn how to deal with them so you BOTH are safe!

One time, when I was a regular 10 hear old boy, I found a grizzly bear in the wild, I was in South Dakota at the time, and I twas in the Winter, so most of the prey were either migrating or hybernating, anyways, I found a Grizzly Bear in the wild, 3 meters long, I was walking through the bramble, minding my own business. Then I heard a sharp roar coming from beyond the trees, i got scared and trembled to my fleet, I accidentally let out a sharp squeal and starting tip toeing away, but it heard my feet crunching on leaves and grass and sticks, then all of a suuden, IT CAME RUNNING OU OF THE BUSHES, I was honestly scared beyond hearts, so I didn't know what to do then threw a nearby rock at it, it was bleeding and acted like it was knocked out, it stopped chasing me and I ran to the nearest neighborhood and seemed help, LUCKILY I had no injuries, yay | )...Itwasthemost scariest moment of my life and it was a life or death situation. I was walking home from a convenience store and I had an incident with a pitbull dog not wild animal but still. It came up to me with the intention of attacking me. Very close to my legs growling and snarling...I know it was just being a dog protecting what it felt was it's territory from what it considered a threat. So I put my grocery bag between me and the dog. Stayed calm and slowly backed away. Avoiding eye contact and saying loudly "No! You're a good puppy." over and over. After a minute or two it backed off. I felt it didn't feel I was a threat anymore.
