  • This episode we are visiting the southernmost tip of Italy, the "heel of the boot", in the Salento peninsula. A place where one can see the natural phenomenon of the meeting of two seas; the Ionian and the Adriatic; the pearl that is Santa Maria di Leuca!
    Andiamo! Let's go!

Do you speak Italian? Your pronunciation is fantastic. I've been taking Italian lessons for a year now & my teacher tells me I need to practice my pronunciation. I can't seem to get my mouth to produce what my ears hear!

Thanks for your comment Mia! I really appreciate it! I've been learning Italian at a part-time pace for many years. I have many Italian friends and I visit the country often so it just made sense for me to try. I definitely recommend watching films or listening to music to work on your pronunciation. It takes time and in some ways you have to mimic to make the right "mouth shape" even! Keep it up! Oh and CZcams has lots of great teachers out there so maybe try that as a side project besides your classes?
