Don't know why people compare prices with India. There is a difference in wage rate as well and hence these are not expensive plus there is a huge difference in currency of different countries so according to that country's currency, it is not expensive

There’s no point really comparing prices with India except just for fun. All countries are different with their own currencies and economies.
I find vegetable prices pretty much the same like in Canada except they are sold by weight and cheaper in summer.
