"ahh, sike, you thought I was going to speak anglais, go back to Ontario, lol"
You know many Quebecers are English speaking and Ontarians, French speaking.
Laughing out loud Mr. François Legault.
Momentary blooper. Gets confusing jumping back and forth between the two languages. Duel language press briefing and simply forgot what language he used last. Not really a news story but that’s where are today, not about news just gotcha questions.
Dual lmao
It is a problem when they're pushing this language on the citizens and them themselves don't even use it normally.
I mean it’s a funny story because Legault is the one who’s trying to make French the sole acceptable language in Quebec government and business
Yea quebec made this a news story by demonizing English. Insane so yes absolutely. The trash who's demonizing it doing something he'd consider illegal is absolutely news
@@sandhanitizer15 Fair enough but as David said, it is a really easy mistake to make. Even in French schools in English provinces, teachers, who are told to make sure the kids speak French may let English words slip. It gets even more difficult when you are switching between languages in an official setting. Pushing a language isn't the worst thing, and its a bit of a reach to say he doesn't speak French normally
Arrest him.
Why? I don’t wanna be disrespectful I am not quebecois
He's joking
As a Québecan I completely agree
He could be an English-French Canadian, from Montréal, Quebec, Canada.
For.. speaking English???
His laugh was so French when he realised “hoanhonhonhon” 😂
Tu me dégoûtes. Premier ministre qui attaque les conditions medicals
So what!?
I speak English, French and Spanish and sometimes start in the wrong language, especially at bilingual events.
Its just normal, as a Québécois, i often mix English in my French too.
Perso chu québécoise
I am quebecoise
sure you do.
Quebec is known for being stubbornly against the English language. Just cause you don’t care, does not mean everyone else is exactly the same.

He forgot to speak a dying language 😢😢
Dying language and he knows it🤡🤡
French is expect to be the most spoken language in the world in 2100. Quebec french is dying, not the language..
@eze3922 Probably not....
yeah french africans countries are mostly responsable for that. You can check Forbes and Colombia University studies about it.@@shamwow0000

A vrai rasists bigot . . Temps sombres
He thinks it's funny, but his racist Bill 96 is anything but.
Why do you complain about bill 96 when a big percentage of our population speaks english, the same cannot be said about the english speaking french.
J’aime boire des larmes de fédéralistes 😘
anglos say québec should be accessible for english speakers (which it already is) but why isn't the rest of canada available to french speakers?
@@mathieu3318 because less than 1 million francophones live in all other provinces put together, most of them in Ontario, which is very bilingual in places where numbers warrant. The same cannot be said about English in Quebec, even with it's million anglophones.
@@mathieu3318 look up the stats for bilingualism in Quebec, between the two demographics. French are practically inbreeding, they are so unilingual.
why you have to talk so fast and make weird noises with your throat to make a language look cool and modern. It's actually dying.
I don’t know why Canadians still bother with French. French belongs in France.
My best bet is that they want to preserve Canada’s early-on culture. I mean, it’s not as practical as Spanish in the United States is but it’s a cool feature.
Et le QUÉBEC
si tu as cettte logique l’anglais est pour l’Angleterre.
Dumbest statement i've ever heard.

English is French. Read the dictionary.

@@LA_ILAH_ILA_YAHUGoogle
@@LA_ILAH_ILA_YAHU I think he meant that most English words are of French origins.
@@urbanistgod
Not quite most, but about 30% of English vocabulary is from Norman French. Slightly less words are of Germanic origin, and come from a mix of the various Anglo-Saxon and Norse languages of the dark ages. Although there's less Germanic vocabulary than French, all the most common vocabulary is Germanic, as well as the grammar so English is still considered a Germanic language.
@@RealUlrichLeland Yeah sorry not most. Don’t know why I made this mistake since I’m well aware that it’s about 30-40% of words only.
