Tbh on paper i prefer Tof gacha system compared to genshin but it all depends on how much currency you can get per month f2p. From what I heard if limited units eventually get added to the standard banner then it's definitely better than genshin system 100%
Well, coming from 6 years of Granblue, saving for 120 pulls is nothing. Though I have only played the game for a single day, so I still can't quite grasp how much time that effectively translates into.
I suppose 120 for 100% beats Genshin (180 there), though Genshin gives you the leeway that all of it gets carried over to the next banner, including the 100% pull. In ToF, once you hit 80, that pity in the form of Flame gold currency won't carry over. Can't even shoot for 79 and let the pity carry over, because that's 79 Flame gold you're wasting there.
*Now the fact that it doesn't reset once you pull an SSR is really neat.* Makes it wholly feasible for a F2P to aim for one or two dupes.
Statements like these make no sense without considering how many pulls you even get per month lol.
@@DieKao Genshin isn’t really known for being generous with primogems. Meanwhile it remains to be seen for ToF, but if CN is to look at, the daily bounties give a substantial amount.
Also pity doesn't reset when you pull an off rate SSR on limited banner and on the standard too
@Uniq0ne Dude did you even watch the video? You can use 120 of the flame gold to buy the limited weapon (not just a duplicate but the weapon itself) and that kind of pity does not carry over. So if you really want that limited one you have to save 120 red nuclei.
@Uniq0ne GENSHIN better in this cause 180 guarantied but it carries over unlike tof 120 guarantied but doesnt carry over to next banner. If u dont pull to 120 you wasted red tokens. In genshin it doesnt matter when u wish or how much u wish so u can wish when u want. Tof standard banner is easily better than genshins standard tho cause pity doesnt reset.
We always consider the worst possible outcome because we know the odds so we generally consider the guarantied as the only way to get the character.
FUN FACT: even though you think it sucks for the Limited one it also adds up that the rate starts from 0.75% -> 2% which means there is also a very high chance to pull the Limited character before even reaching 50-50 PITY which makes this game VERY F2P friends not to mention the standard SSRS can drop on bosses using Gold card. so eventually 1 - 2 years you have a high chance of pulling all standard characters and dupes. so do not ever waste Dark Crystals for Gold Nucleus otherwise ur just wasting currency
The 1.25% increase is only the 100% of the 80th pull averaged on all 80 pulls. 0.75 is the base ssr rate, to add the 100% of the 80th pull you add 100/80 = 1.25 to the base 0.75 = 2.0%. Basically it's just misleading gacha bullshit, for your first 79 pulls the ssr rate is 0.75% and on your 80th it is 100%.

for f2p general rule's not to pull on red/ limited banner (not all limited char'll go to standard) if you cant get to 120

@@Morganaplays 120 pull lets you directly buy the char which's similar to GI guarantee & depending on which char they are going for they might want to go for at least a1 - a3 unless one gets extremely lucky with their early pulls. I've been playing since GB release & 've only gotten limit char early ones to date..

@@Morganaplays If you'r new then just progress normally - complete story quest (mainly story only as some things'r gated by story quest) exploring map (use tof interactive map to locate black/gold/red nucleus as there'r loads) also you can use gold/black nucleus when ever you like but the red nucleus which lets you get limited char, never pull on unless you can guarantee (120) as you would be wasting it otherwise, if you can't then it better to just save for the rerun instead. complete daily commission & never cap your vitality so on...

The pity on the limited banner carry over to the next limited banner? I got nemesis on my 80 rolls and continued to 40 rolls (120 All) for enough flame gold for the dupe. So now the pity is at 40 and I've already spent all my flame gold.

Nah I think its fair. Depending on how rare the red pulls are. I mean 120 guaranteed opposed to genshin 200, dislyte 450. Pretty fair. Punishing gray is still the best by a large margin.
genshin is also average 120 with extra currency from starglitters and soft pity at 75. And you can save your 100% drop to carry over. Dislyte is pretty awful ngl.
Genshin is avg 150-160 (180 if you are extremely unlucky), but yeah this is better. The bad thing is that some 5* constellations in this game are almost mandatory while in Genshin are totally skippable.
Where did you get that 200 number for genshin? Even with absolutely bad luck is 180. Not that it have any sense to compare pities because all the games have different speed to give currency to the players.

Also wanted to point out.... you are "lucky" to reach 180 pity on genshin for the guaranteed 5*.
I only saw ONE person who managed to reach the 180 mark for the limited character. Everyone else averages around 150~160 for guarantee.

Hey if im 60/80 for nemisis bannerr and someone else will take her place the next day will it reset? Or does it still remain for 60/80
I pulled Nemesis on my 4th pull, then got up to the pity (80) and was given King. Then after spending some money I got to 80 again and got nemesis again, as well as buying her weapon. So got her at Two Star atm. Not really wanting to whale on her, as its for sure a waste of money. but I got to say that aintt bad I guess ? It could be worse ?
The 80 pity on the Gold banner gave me 2nd Meryl, and 10th King O_o It may look lucky, but I guess the 10th pull was a given SSR.
Is it okay to spend my gold and black nucleus? Or should I wait in case I can't get the limited banner that I want and wait for it to get into the standard banner?
Right now there is no guarantee that any of the limited will be added to standard specially if the characte is part of the Main story like Shirley. It is better to spend black and gold to standard so you can make your current weapon stronger. (This is just my opinion)

@@ramza8355 I am not sure. You can check with other source to make sure. We are in Globan and not in CN so I dont know sometimes CN gets the advantage.

how will this game manage dark crystals farming ?? i can't see many ways of farming these out side of achievements and world exploration , monthly be like less than 20 rolls , this is very concerning for f2p or dont pull the limited at all and wait for the right waifu to come from CN and that will be my only limited character for my whole life

As of now not yet but possibly in the future they might add some of the limited characters to standard banners.

damn that red nucleus converting to the lower currency at the end of the banner sucks. that means if you miss your 50/50 and save up for the next banner its not 100% guaranteed you get the character you want on the next limited banner. In genshin if you miss your 50/50, the next banner is 100% guaranteed to roll the character if u have enough pity.

you should always save up 120 pulls since the 50/50 is at 80 but then you can buy the character at 120 pulls and lots of the limited banner characters are being put into the standard banner

Do supply pods respawn??
Supply pods do not respawn. Technically, they don't despawn like chests do. You can still see the empty pod after you've opened it. Anyway, you only get to open a supply pod one time, and the number of them you still have left to open in an area is tracked in the world exploration menu.

@@reggea4ever You can't really farm them. Just do your exploration and all the various activity and event stuff that has them sprinkled into the rewards. I just did my 80th gold nuclei pull on this character and I just started her yesterday evening.
